Reality TV Star Chrisean Rock Changes Her Son’s Name
Chrisean Rock has made headlines once again, but this time, it’s for a surprising reason—she’s announced a change to her son’s name. The reality star and rapper, who recently served three months in jail, revealed on September 11 that she has altered the name of her 1-year-old son with Blueface.
In a brief post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Chrisean shared the update: “Chrisean Jesus Porter is his name it isn’t Jr any more just letting yall know thanks.”
The name change comes amid ongoing turbulence in Chrisean and Blueface’s relationship. Last month, while Blueface was incarcerated, he spoke about their situation during a jailhouse call, noting that they had been communicating.
He expressed hope that Chrisean would visit him with their son, saying, “Hopefully, when she gets out she’ll come bring [our son] up here or what not.”She also unfollowed him on Instagram from both her main and baby accounts.
The reality star spent the past three months in jail, split between California and Oklahoma. Her legal troubles began in June during a Blueface court hearing in San Fernando Valley, California. She was arrested and sentenced to 30 days in jail related to an incident where she allegedly assaulted a backup dancer at Tamar Braxton’s Love and War 10th Anniversary show in Los Angeles.
Following her California arrest, Chrisean was extradited to Oklahoma to address charges from a 2022 arrest. In Oklahoma, she faced accusations of failing to have a tax stamp affixed on controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and possession of CDS with intent to distribute. If convicted, she could face up to eight years in prison for these charges.
Chrisean was released from jail last week after posting bond. Her recent legal battles and incarceration have undoubtedly added stress to her life, and the decision to alter her son’s name might be part of her process of redefining her circumstances during this turbulent time.
