Luann de Lesseps SLAMS John Janssen for Suing Ex Shannon Beador
Luann de Lesseps has thrown her support behind Shannon Beador amid a tumultuous situation involving Shannon’s ex, John Janssen.
In a candid discussion on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, Luann took a firm stance against Janssen’s recent actions, including his demand that Beador repay him for a facelift he funded.
“How are you going to take back a facelift? But that shows you what kind of caliber this man is,” Luannn remarked. With her characteristic wit, she added, “Money can’t buy you class. But it can buy you a facelift, thank you, buh-bye! See ya!”
The drama surrounding Shannon and John’s split continues to unfold. The couple ended their relationship in 2023, and Janssen, 61, soon began dating Alexis Bellino, a new cast member on RHOC. Alexis’s reappearance on the show has only intensified the scrutiny Beador faces, as Bellino’s presence is a significant source of drama for Beador.
“It’s horrible. That’s got to hurt. And I mean, this guy, what kind of guy does a thing like that on the same TV show? I would hate it. I would really have a tough time with it,” Luann shared. She empathized with Shannon, noting, “Shannon’s kind of been scorned by this guy. I’m not even going to blame the woman … but I’m not going to bring my boyfriend around her.”
As Beador navigates this public and personal turmoil, Luann is supporting her in more ways than one.
The two, along with other single “Real Housewives” stars, are currently filming a dating reality show for Peacock, tentatively titled “Love Hotel.” The show will feature de Luann, Shannon, Gizelle Bryant, and Ashley Darby in their quest for love.
“I don’t know Ashley or Gizelle that well. Of course, I’ve seen them at BravoCon and things like that. Shannon, I’ve done a little bit more work with,” Luann recounted.
“I can’t remember exactly where but we were changing together somewhere in some hotel room. So we know each other. We saw each other’s derrieres!”
Excited about the show, Luann is particularly enthusiastic about the possibility of meeting potential suitors. “I asked production to bring in some handsome European and Latin men,” she revealed. “I’m super excited about it!”
Looking ahead, Luann is also gearing up for her “Marry F Kill!” cabaret tour, with her next performance set for October 10 in Charleston, SC. The tour promises an engaging mix of entertainment and personal connection.
“The show is so much fun,” Luann said of the cabaret, adding that it’s a great opportunity to interact with her fans. “It’s the perfect time to connect with fans, spill a little tea, and have the crowd get to know me a bit more.”
As Shannon and Luann navigate their respective challenges and new ventures, it’s clear that their friendship and support for each other remain strong.
