Jackie shared her thoughtson the revelation and its aftermath, saying, “It was a secret that I didn’t like having. It was bad when it got revealed. I knew the whole world was gonna make it a big deal. But it actually felt very good to me to not have a secret anymore.”
She elaborated on the significance of the truth coming out, explaining that a genuine friendship with Teresa was impossible until the secret was exposed.
“I knew that once it was revealed — if we decided to move forward as friends — that [friendship] was gonna be true,” Jackie noted. “When she was like, ‘I don’t even care,’ then I knew we could really move forward with honesty.”
Jackie’s admission raises questions about what might have happened if Teresa hadn’t been so focused on Margaret Josephs throughout the season. As Jackie pointed out, “You can’t keep a secret like that from a friend and have a normal friendship.”
Currently, Jackie and Teresa are no longer “part of each other’s inner circles,” but Jackie remains hopeful about the future of their relationship. “Both of us are very invested in growing a friendship,” she said, reflecting on their current dynamic.
