Chet Hanks Says He’d Move to Georgia to Date ‘RHOA’ Alum Kim Zolciak
Chet Hanks is opening up about his recent interactions with Kim Zolciak and the potential for a future romance.
The actor, known for his roles in “Shameless” and “Empire,” revealed that meeting the Real Housewives of Atlanta star was a memorable experience.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six during the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on September 11, Chet, 34, expressed how much he enjoyed his time with Kim, 46. “One of the best moments of my life was meeting Kim Zolciak,” he shared on the black carpet at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY.
The two have maintained a connection since filming “The Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets,” and Chet noted that they even recently dined together in Los Angeles.
Despite the strong chemistry between them, Hanks emphasized that their relationship remains platonic at the moment. “We’re really good friends,” he said with a playful laugh when questioned about the nature of their relationship. However, he made it clear that he is open to exploring something more.
“I would absolutely move to Georgia to date her,” Chet revealed, indicating his willingness to relocate from his current residence in Nashville for Zolciak.
Kim Zolciak has also spoken positively about Chet. She has referred to him as a “nice guy” and appeared pleased when her interactions with him were mentioned by the paparazzi.
Regarding Kim’s ongoing divorce from Kroy Biermann, Hanks admitted that he has not kept up with the details but extended his well wishes to her. “I wish my pal the best with that,” he said.
The actor, who is also a devoted father, doesn’t seem fazed by Kim’s family situation. “I have one kid myself, and I’m a family man,” he noted, suggesting that he is comfortable with the idea of blending families.
Hanks, who has received career advice from his famous parents, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, shared a tip from his father that he finds valuable: “If you know your lines and you show up on time and you’re nice to everybody, that gets you a long way.”
For now, Chet remains focused on his career and personal life, while keeping the door open for future possibilities with Zolciak. Fans will have to wait and see if this budding friendship develops into something more.
