‘Teen Mom’ Star Catelynn Lowell BLOCKED By Carly’s Adoptive Parents After Harrassing the Couple!

Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell has revealed that she was blocked by her daughter Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, after allegedly sending repeated messages and updates about Carly’s siblings.

Catelynn Lowell, 32, is speaking out about her strained relationship with the adoptive parents of her eldest daughter, Carly. In a series of emotional Instagram Stories shared on Monday, September 9, Catelynn revealed that Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, have blocked her on social media, sparking tension between the families.

Catelynn’s Blocked

Catelynn, who placed Carly for adoption in 2009 when she was just a teenager, has maintained an open adoption arrangement with Brandon and Teresa for years. However, in her recent Instagram post, Catelynn shared that communication has broken down, leaving her heartbroken.

“Adoption is crazy … I’m blocked all because of me sending updates and pictures of her sisters,” Catelynn wrote, referring to the three daughters she shares with her husband, Tyler Baltierra: Novalee Reign, 8, Vaeda Luma, 4, and Rya Rose, 2. “How is that fair for Carly and her siblings?”

Catelynn’s message reflects her sadness and frustration over the situation, which she says is impacting her children as much as it is affecting her. While the reality star expressed that she feels powerless as Carly’s biological mother, she also shared her hopes for the future.

Heartbreak Over the Situation

“When you’re a bio mom, you have no say … no control … All I can do is show Carly in the future how much I tried and continued to do so,” Catelynn continued. “She can make the decision herself to understand who shut who out.”

In a follow-up post, Catelynn shared a video that showed text messages, photos, and videos she had sent to Teresa in recent months. According to the Teen Mom star, her messages went unanswered, and she was ultimately blocked.

“Literally ignored for months and then just blocked,” she captioned the video, adding, “Hurts my heart for all the kids involved.”

Pain of Being Distanced

Catelynn has been open about the emotional challenges of placing Carly for adoption, and this latest development has clearly affected her deeply. She reflected on the immense sacrifice she made for Carly’s adoptive parents, writing, “I gave them one of my biggest gifts ever … A child I grew and love so deeply … I will not let them take my voice.”

Her heartfelt post was not just about the pain she’s feeling now, but also about ensuring that Carly knows she’s always tried to remain a part of her life. “I’m sharing this in hopes that one day Carly will see it and know I’ve always tried,” Catelynn wrote. “To know I mean nothing to the APs but just a womb to give a child hurts my heart.”

Why Brandon and Teresa Pulled Away

The Teen Mom star went on to speculate about why Brandon and Teresa may have distanced themselves. She believes that fear of Carly asking difficult questions could be a factor. “I think they’re scared or feel threatened that Carly would ask questions about why we don’t get together more, why we can’t just fly to her for a weekend, etc.,” Catelynn shared.

Despite the distance, Catelynn emphasized that she fully supports Carly’s love for her adoptive parents. “I will ALWAYS support Carly loving her parents! They love her and raised her!” she wrote. However, she expressed concern that keeping her and Carly’s siblings distant may ultimately hurt Carly in the long run.

Catelynn Stands By Her Feeling

In her final post, Catelynn clarified that she wasn’t trying to “put Brandon and Teresa on blast,” but rather share her own emotions as a biological mother navigating the complexities of adoption.

“As bio parents, we are taught to just take what’s given to us and that we should feel ‘lucky’ but if anything goes wrong, we need to shut up and be quiet,” she wrote, addressing the expectations placed on biological parents in open adoptions.

Catelynn’s relationship with Carly and her adoptive parents has faced ups and downs over the years. The Teen Mom star, her husband Tyler, and their daughters have had regular visits with Carly, including a memorable reunion in 2023. Catelynn previously described the experience as “absolutely amazing,” telling In Touch in August that it was wonderful to see all the girls together.

“We love seeing all the girls together,” Catelynn gushed. “Carly’s getting older, so it’s fun just talking to her about, like, what stuff she’s into. Does she like any boys at school?”

As Catelynn continues to navigate the challenges of open adoption, she remains hopeful that one day she will have a stronger connection with Carly and her adoptive parents, despite the current obstacles.
