Margaret Josephs Slams Teresa Giudice as a ‘Grudge Holder’ and Says She’s ‘Not Good for TV Anymore’
Margaret Josephs didn’t hold back in her latest comments about Teresa Giudice, calling her a “grudge holder” and claiming that her behavior is “not good for TV anymore.”
In a recent interview on the Taste of Taylor podcast, Margaret, 57, revealed that she and her husband, Joe Benigno, filmed scenes about his cancer diagnosis for season 14, but those emotional moments never made it to air.
“They didn’t even wrap up what happened with Joe,” she shared on the August 29 episode. “He is okay but he does have first-stage prostate cancer. No one knows. No one wrapped that up… but he’s okay.”
Margaret, who joined RHONJ in season 8, looked back on some of the hardest moments she’s faced on the show. “My hardest season was probably the ponytail,” she said, referencing the infamous altercation. Another tough season for Margaret involved Siggy Flicker, who appeared in seasons 7 and 8. Siggy’s accusations of anti-Semitism deeply affected Margaret.
“I was called anti-Semitic but it turned out okay… It was very hard on me mentally to be called that, knowing my kids are Jewish,” she explained. “That was a hard season for me… but it worked out in the end.”
As she looks ahead to the potential 15th season, Margaret expressed her desire for the show to lighten up.
“I wish we’d film at Christmastime. Christmas tree wars, making fun of people’s Christmas trees. That’s funny. Shady sh*t like that,” she joked. “It’s gone too far. One bad apple can ruin the bunch.”
Margaret also called out Teresa Giudice, 52, for dragging out conflicts and holding grudges, something she believes is detrimental to the show.
“She’s a grudge holder, she beats a dead horse, she drags it, she revives it, she gives it CPR, and then kills it again,” Margaret stated bluntly. “It’s not good for TV anymore. I’m just over it.”
Despite the drama, Margaret pointed to season 12 as one of her favorites, especially her mother’s 75th birthday party.
“My favorite season might have been my mother’s 75th birthday party, which I loved. That’s something I’ll always have on camera,” she said. “That was the [Jennifer Aydin] cheating season also… but I also made up with her.”
Margaret also highlighted her charity work during the hospital heroes season as another meaningful moment in her RHONJ journey.
