Vicki Gunvalson Throws Shade at Tamra Judge for Crying on Social Media
Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge’s long-standing tension continues to simmer, with the two former friends at odds over their fractured relationship and a recent emotional reaction from Tamra.
The tension has reached a new level between Vicki and Tamra after Tamra got emotional following Vicki’s remarks about her relationship with her daughter. Vicki, however, isn’t backing down. In a video, Vicki addressed the situation head-on.
“I have no desire to cry on social media and do what she’s doing,” Vicki said, referring to Tamra’s tearful videos. “Somebody told me that she’s doing videos with her face, you know, going through the transition.” For context, Tamra recently underwent a brow lift and chemical peel and has been documenting her recovery on social media.
Vicki went on to explain her perspective, stating that her comments were not intended to hurt Tamra. “I am all about family, and when I said that with Christian, it was just that I would do anything,” she explained. “If my daughter decided tomorrow I pissed her off about something and said, ‘Mom, get off the show, stop showing your t***, and stop embarrassing the family,’ I would do all three of those. That’s all I was saying.”
Vicki emphasized that her remarks were not a direct attack on Tamra or her daughter but were meant to underscore her belief that family should always come first.
“Her daughter was embarrassed by some actions that Tamra was doing. Then get off the show. Get off the show because family is more important than money,” Vicki continued.
She elaborated on the idea that the financial benefits of being on a reality show should never outweigh the importance of family.
“That’s why people do the show: because we get a lot of money for our time being on. I would walk away from every dollar and I’d give it all back if I would get Brianna back if, God forbid, she got mad at me about something and didn’t talk to me.”
Despite the ongoing tension between her and Tamra, Vicki insisted that she doesn’t want to hurt her former friend. “It was not meant to hurt Tamra. I don’t want to hurt Tamra,” Vicki said. “I don’t come from a place of anger or hurt. I just don’t want to be friends with somebody that can be that mean to somebody else.”
Vicki also referenced Tamra’s treatment of their mutual friend, Shannon Beador, pointing out the inconsistency in Tamra’s behavior.
“She was so mean to Shannon. She kept saying, ‘I didn’t do anything to Vicki.’ It’s who you are, and you’re being so mean.”
New episodes of RHOC air on Thursday nights.
