Tamra Judge’s Mom Harshly Reacts to Her Recent Cosmetic Surgery: ‘Your Face Makes Me Want to Throw Up’
Tamra Judge shared messages between her and her mother, Sandy Baker, revealing her mom’s candid and less-than-supportive reaction to her recent cosmetic procedure.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 57, has been openly documenting her recovery after undergoing a brow lift and blue chemical peel — a non-surgical procedure to tighten skin and reduce wrinkles.
In a Sept. 2 update, just three days post-surgery — and on her 57th birthday — Tamra shared a video on Instagram highlighting her mom’s blunt reaction to her recovery. According to screenshots of their text exchange, Sandy didn’t hold back.
“Your face literally makes me want to throw up,” she texted, adding, “It looks so painfully [sic] and you don’t look like yourself.” She even noted that one of her friends asked if Tamra had been in a motorcycle accident.
Despite the harsh comments, Tamra found humor in the situation. “I literally can’t stop laughing. You guys know where I get my empathy from, right?” she joked in the video. “I can’t, she’s too much.”
The Bravo star, who mentioned she had “only had one pain pill,” remained upbeat, saying “things are looking up,” although she did admit her skin was “just a little crisp around the edges.”
In another video update, Tamra called day three of her recovery “the worst day of it all” but noted she was starting to feel better. “I took a shower. I’m able to turn the TV on now. Before, noise hurt my head so bad because of the brow lift that I just wanted to stay in complete silence,” she explained.
The clip also showed Tamra walking around her kitchen, jokingly sharing that she hasn’t “pooped in three to four days,” adding a bit of levity to her recovery journey.
This isn’t Judge’s first time undergoing cosmetic surgery. Her recent procedure is the final touch after having a lower facelift seven years ago.
“Seven years ago I had a lower facelift but skipped the upper — like painting the house but forgetting the trim,” she humorously captioned a Sept. 1 Instagram post.
