Lindsay Hubbard Reveals She and Her New Boyfriend Aren’t Living Together
Lindsay Hubbard is holding onto her New York City apartment and embracing solo living, despite her relationship and upcoming motherhood.
The Summer House star recently shared that she and her boyfriend are not living together, and even with a baby on the way, they have no immediate plans to change that arrangement.
Currently, Lindsay is still residing in the apartment she once shared with her former fiancé, Carl Radke. More than a year after their breakup, which played out on Summer House, she has chosen to keep living on her own while preparing for the arrival of her daughter.
During an interview with Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap, Lindsay opened up about why she hasn’t invited her boyfriend to move in.
“Obviously, it’s a newer relationship,” Lindsay explained. “We’ve only been dating since January. I found out I was pregnant in April. So, I pretty much took everything off the table. Like, look, I am not looking for a proposal. I’m not looking to get engaged. I’m not even thinking about marriage, and I’m not even thinking about moving in together.”
Despite their unconventional setup, Lindsay believes their arrangement is working perfectly. She and her boyfriend live close to one another in New York, which makes things easier for the couple.
“It’s working for us. And we live so close to each other in New York, literally within blocks. We’re on the same Avenue,” she shared.
“And once the baby comes, I’m sure he’ll spend the night every single night because he’s obsessed with her and doesn’t want to, you know, miss anything. So when we’re ready, when the timing is right in our relationship, maybe we’ll move in together, maybe we’ll talk about marriage. But right now, it’s working for us.”
For now, Lindsay is making the most of her cozy two-bedroom apartment, a space she’s grown fond of.
She recently renewed her lease at a reduced rate, something that rarely happens in the competitive NYC rental market.
“My landlord and I worked out a deal where she actually reduced the rent, which never happens in New York,” Lindsay revealed during a May appearance on the Bitch Bible podcast.
As she prepares for motherhood, Lindsay has been busy nesting. Last month, she shared an update about her apartment, revealing she added a daybed in the baby’s room for practical reasons.
While her living arrangements may remain the same for now, one thing is certain: Lindsay’s nurse will be moving in to help once the baby arrives.
