Lala Kent Gives Birth to Baby No. 2: ‘Welcome to the World’
Lala Kent has officially given birth.
The Vanderpump Rules star revealed on September 3 that she welcomed her second child, a baby girl, just a day earlier.
“Welcome into the world, my love,” Lala wrote in an Instagram Story, confirming her daughter’s arrival on September 3.
Already a proud mom to 3-year-old Ocean Kent Emmett, Lala had announced her pregnancy back in March 2024. At the time, she shared her excitement on Instagram, writing that her family was expanding with a “new addition to my little family,” and adding, “I’m expanding my pod.”
Lala’s second child was born following her very personal journey to motherhood, documented during Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. The season highlighted her decision to pursue motherhood on her own and her excitement about giving Ocean a sibling.
The Give Them Lala podcast host had been open about her use of Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) to conceive. Lala involved her close friends and family in choosing the ideal sperm donor, even hosting a gathering at Lisa Vanderpump’s house where they helped her review potential donors.
While navigating life as a single mom, Lala has built a strong support system. During a March 5 Amazon Live stream, she opened up about raising her growing family alongside her own mother.
“I never expected to be raising not one but two children in the type of household that I’m in,” Lala shared.
“I always say that I’m raising my daughter Ocean [with my mom], and I’ll be raising this new baby with my mom… I have a pod around me. I say we’re like a pod of Orcas. No one leaves the pod; we just keep adding to it. And it may not look normal to most people, but Ocean and this child are going to be surrounded by so much love.”
With her second child now here, Lala Kent is continuing to build her family and her “pod,” embracing the love and support she has created around her.
