Fans of Welcome To Plathville have been grappling with a growing sense of disillusionment as the current season unfolds. Another user, u/kg51113, even shared a side-by-side photo comparison, showing the guys in the current season and in season 4, where they were portrayed as Micah’s roommates. While this could be a coincidence, it struck viewers as odd, especially given how isolated Olivia’s storyline has been from the rest of the Plath family.

Welcome To Plathville has always had moments where it felt over-produced, but in recent seasons, the allegations of scripting have become more widespread. The show has undergone significant changes, particularly after Kim and Barry Plath decided to divorce. This upheaval drastically altered their lives and forced their children to navigate a new reality on camera.
