Shannon Beador Asserts She Made ‘Financial Contributions’ in John Janssen Lawsuit
Shannon Beador is standing her ground in the ongoing legal battle with her ex, John Janssen, and the situation is getting increasingly tense.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Shannon recently filed a motion to present her side of the story, firmly denying John’s claims that she owes him money.
The drama between Shannon and John, both featured on The Real Housewives of Orange County, has become a complicated saga. Adding to the mix, fellow cast member Alexis Bellino has inserted herself into the situation, supposedly in defense of John.
John is suing Shannon for $75,000, alleging that he gave her the money for a facelift and other expenses during their relationship.
In her recent court filing, Beador disputes Janssen’s version of events. “John and Shannon were in a romantic relationship for over four years. During the relationship, the parties regularly shared their finances and assisted each other with certain financial contributions,” her lawyer explained in the filing.
Shannon’s legal team argues that the funds John’s claims were loans had no formal terms, such as interest rates or repayment schedules.
“Defendant denies that said monies were loans, but were simply monies shared during the relationship,” the court document states.
The situation has sparked controversy among fans, many of whom feel it’s inappropriate for Janssen to pursue legal action against Beador while she’s already going through a difficult time. Meanwhile, Alexis Bellino is expected to have strong opinions on Shannon’s latest legal maneuver.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
