Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Alleges ‘Jersey Shore’ Producers Urged Cops To Arrest Her

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has recently revealed a surprising detail about her infamous 2010 arrest on Jersey Shore—claiming that the producers of the show played a key role in the incident.

In a candid conversation on the “Therapuss with Jake Shane” podcast, Snooki, now 36, shared that the police officers involved in the scene were not regular on-duty cops from the town, but rather individuals working under the direction of the show’s production team.

“Those cops weren’t on shift for the town,” Snooki explained during the podcast. “They were on shift from production to make sure they are protecting us from crazy people.”

She then dropped the bombshell: “I don’t even think it’s legal because they weren’t working for the town, but I watched the video back and one of the producers said, ‘Just arrest her.’”

Nicole also recounted how she “started to black out” as she was being handcuffed. The reality star was arrested on July 30, 2010, for disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and criminal annoyance—a moment that later aired on the show.

While the charges were dropped two months later, she was fined $500 and ordered to complete two days of community service.

The chaotic day, which became the focus of the Jersey Shore episode titled “Where’s the Beach?“, began with Polizzi drinking heavily, both on and off camera. “I woke up that day, and I was drinking nonstop,” she recalled on the podcast.

Describing the rough start to her morning, she said, “You know when you wake up and you feel like the shakes are coming? You’re like, ‘I’m going to s–t, I’m going to throw up, but I have to be on camera and I have to go [to] this shift,’ so I woke up still in my party dress, with my blanket on, walking to my shift.”

Snooki admitted to downing a mix of Four Loko, a Long Island Iced Tea, and beer to try to ward off the “shakes.” However, the drinking didn’t stop there. “I was like ‘I can’t do this,’” she remembered.

“So that’s when I ran. I just ran to the bar. I took shots just to start feeling better, and then I just didn’t stop,” Snooki elaborated.

Her alcohol-fueled adventure led to meeting “random people,” making out with an older man, and eventually, her infamous cry of “Where’s the beach?” before her arrest.

Reflecting on the moment, she said, “I knew the beach was right there, but my drunk self was like, ‘How do I get on the beach?’”

At the time of the incident, Snooki made headlines for declaring that she was “too pretty to be in jail.”

Despite the public scrutiny, she brushed off the arrest, saying, “I had a couple cocktails, and they just put me in a drunk tank to sober me up. I was on the beach. It happens to the best of us, and I’m not planning on going back to jail ever again.”
