Tamra Judge Responds to Fans Demanding She Gets Fired from ‘RHOC’ and SLAMS Shannon Beador

Tamra Judge has responded to fans calling for her firing from The Real Housewives of Orange County, suggesting that her former friend Shannon Beador should be grateful to Alexis Bellino for shifting the spotlight onto herself and making Shannon appear as the “victim.”

This season, Tamra has been vocal about Shannon’s decision to continue drinking after her DUI arrest, a stance that has led many viewers to accuse Tamra of exploiting the situation to stir up drama for the show.

Meanwhile, Shannon has been navigating the awkward situation of filming with Alexis, who is now dating Shannon’s ex-boyfriend John Janssen—who is suing Shannon for $75,000.

During an episode of her Two Ts In A Pod podcast, Tamra addressed the fan backlash. “I [got] fired [in 2020]. And people wanted me fired. And then everybody was up in arms. ‘Bring her back.’ And then they brought me back. And then they’re like, ‘Oh my god, she’s so mean. Fire her!’” she said, as reported by Heavy.

Dismissing the “villain” label, Tamra described herself as a “truth-teller.” “I will tell you the truth. Maybe my delivery isn’t sweet as pie. But that’s how I am. That’s how I’m wired,” she explained.

“I went into this whole season thinking I’m being a good friend. I’m not enabling. And look how it’s come out.”

Tamra also shared that she’s received support from people who have dealt with addiction in their own lives. “They said, ‘You know I understand your frustrations. And it’s very hard for somebody to understand that hasn’t gone through it,’” Tamra revealed, adding that while she has “empathy,” she doesn’t have “sympathy” for Shannon, who she claims has been repeating the same behaviors for the past decade.

In a separate interview on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Tamra claimed that Shannon has had conflicts with almost everyone on the show. “She’s no innocent bystander,” Tamra said, calling it “convenient” that Shannon is now aligning herself with Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson.

Tamra went on to claim that both Gina and Emily believe Shannon has a “drinking problem,” referencing last season’s reunion where Gina suggested Shannon needed “rehab,” and Emily joked that she needed a “breathalyzer” to use her phone.

“And I think that Shannon should be praising Alexis at this point,” Tamra remarked. “Because Alexis has come on the show, her drinking and her DUI have been swept under the rug, and everybody is mad because Alexis is dating John … and all of a sudden, Shannon is a victim!”

Tamra also criticized Shannon for allegedly lying to police about her DUI crash, claiming she walked away from the scene and told officers she was just walking her dog.

“And [she] continue[s] to drink!” Tamra added. “So I think that she owes Alexis, you know, an apology. And she should be so happy that Alexis is taking the heat off of her for the DUI.”
