Garcelle Beauvais Announces Son Jax Won’t Be On ‘RHOBH’ Season 14
Garcelle Beauvais has revealed that her son, Jax Nilon, will not be appearing on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills following the disrespect and cyberbullying he experienced due to the show.
The cyberbullying reached its peak in 2022, and while some time has passed, the impact on Garcelle’s family has been lasting. Fans may remember that Bravo issued a statement in support of Jax during that difficult time.
In a recent interview on the Pop Culture Moms podcast, Garcelle discussed the upcoming season of RHOBH and opened up about the challenges her son faced.
“Right before this season, Jax said to me, ‘Mom, I can’t do it anymore. It was too negative for me.’ I respected that, and so he’s not on this season at all,” Garcelle shared.
She continued, “I wasn’t going to force him. When he said that to me, I said, ‘Well, I respect you for that, and you don’t have to.’”
Fans of the show will recall a particularly tense moment when Erika Jayne directed harsh language at Jax, which not only caused embarrassment at the time but also fueled negative reactions online. Although Erika later apologized, the incident left a lasting impression.
Reflecting on the situation, Garcelle said, “That was also one of the hardest things because they didn’t sign up for it. Watching the show in the past, I always felt like the kids were in the background. You saw them at the house; they weren’t subjected to any negativity. So I thought, ‘We can do this.’ And then when that happened with Jax, it blew my mind because nobody deserves it. Nobody’s kids deserve it.”
Garcelle added, “But I thought, you know, he’s doing this because of me, and it’s our family. And it was his first week of high school. And for him to be subjected to such ugliness, it was just horrible. It was horrible.”
