‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Accused of ‘Sabotaging’ Relationship with Robyn After His 3 Marriages Collapse!
In the latest trailer for the upcoming 19th season of Sister Wives, Robyn Brown shares her feelings of being “the idiot that got left behind” after her husband, Kody Brown, sees his plural marriage unravel.
Kody, 55, is facing a new reality following the end of his relationships with wives Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown, leaving him only married to his fourth wife, Robyn. Reflecting on the changes, Kody admits, “My dream of the big polygamous family is just shot,” as he struggles to come to terms with the dissolution of his once large family unit.
“They have all betrayed me!” Kody exclaims to Robyn in the trailer, expressing his deep sense of loss and frustration. He then adds, “I am out of my mind,” highlighting the emotional toll the breakups have taken on him.
Robyn, visibly distressed by the turmoil, confides in the cameras, “He is sabotaging our relationship.” She later reveals, “I feel like the idiot that got left behind,” indicating her feelings of abandonment as the last remaining wife.
As Kody and Robyn navigate the fallout, there’s little sign of reconciliation with his former spouses. Christine, who split from Kody in 2021 and has since moved on with her new husband, David Woolley, declares in the trailer, “I’m not gonna be friendly,” making it clear that she has no intention of rekindling any kind of relationship with Kody.
Janelle, who ended her 19-year marriage to Kody in 2022, shares a similar sentiment. “I don’t really miss him. It’s really a mess,” she tells the cameras, indicating that she has no regrets about her decision to move on.
Meri, who also separated from Kody, is equally resolute, stating, “Let’s just separate this completely,” as she looks ahead to a new chapter in her life.
The upcoming season of Sister Wives will explore how the Browns are “facing new pathways forward,” according to the official synopsis. Meri, for instance, is taking her decision to leave Kody a step further by seeking an official “release” from their former church, which serves as their version of a divorce.
Meanwhile, Janelle is also making strides in her new life, moving away from Flagstaff as part of her effort to move on. Christine, who has found happiness with David Woolley, has quickly built a new life. In less than a year, the couple went on their first date, moved in together, and eventually married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends in Moab, Utah.
As for Kody and Robyn, they now face the challenge of adapting to life as a monogamous couple, a lifestyle they never envisioned. With polygamy behind them, the couple must navigate the complexities of their new dynamic.
The new season will also address a heartbreaking chapter for the family as they cope with the devastating loss of Janelle and Kody’s son, Garrison Brown. The family comes together to mourn and celebrate his life, showcasing their resilience in the face of tragedy.
Sister Wives returns on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 10 p.m. ET, on TLC.
