Luis Ruelas’ Company He Invested In Faces New Allegations of Him Not Paying People

Luis Ruelas, husband of Teresa Giudice, finds himself at the center of controversy once again, this time involving Vinivia, a company he’s invested in.

Despite not being officially listed as a staff member or owner on the company’s website, multiple employees have accused him of failing to pay them, adding to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding his business dealings. The latest to speak out is Alana Hunter, a social media influencer and digital producer, who claims she hasn’t received her paycheck for the past two months.

Fans of RHONJ have long questioned what exactly Luis does for a living, and this latest controversy isn’t helping his image. Alana took to TikTok to voice her frustrations, revealing that she joined Vinivia in February 2024 as a Social Media Strategist.

In her post, she expressed her disillusionment with the company and her decision to turn to social media for support. “This was my first time working in tech, but I’ve worked for many other start-ups that NEVER had issues like this,” Alana shared.

“It has been an incredibly stressful time for my team and I both financially and mentally, and truly, I just wish this nightmare would end and we would get fairly compensated.”

In her video, Alana declared she was “exposing the company that stopped paying me two months ago.” She explained, “This video marks just over two months of not being paid by my company, Vinivia. From canceled health insurance to missing 401k contributions, I’m DONE being silent about this and will be posting the details shortly.”

Alana also alleged that one payment had even been reversed from her bank account, adding that she was shocked given Vinivia’s major launch party, which featured A-list celebrities. She never anticipated they were having “money issues.”

This isn’t the first time Vinivia has faced such complaints. The party planner for the company’s launch event also publicly criticized Vinivia for allegedly failing to pay an outstanding tab of $300,000.

Despite the growing accusations, Luis has remained silent on the matter, instead choosing to focus on promoting his new business ventures.

In a recent video, he highlighted the company’s work in “augmented reality and artificial intelligence,” suggesting that he remains unfazed by the allegations.

However, while Luis may not appear worried, the same cannot be said for the employees who are still waiting for their paychecks.

The situation at Vinivia is far from resolved, and it’s unclear how the ongoing issues will impact Luis’s reputation both in business and on RHONJ.
