Angela Deem GOES BERSERK Over Michael Ilesanmi Raising Over $45,000 To Fight Her In Divorce Court ‘Wake Up, America!’
90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem has taken to social media to react to the news that her estranged husband, Michael Ilesanmi, has successfully raised a significant amount through a GoFundMe campaign to cover his legal fees.
Angela, who filed for an annulment in June, accused Michael of “fraudulently inducing [her] into a marriage for the purpose of gaining legal permanent resident status in the United States.” However, a private investigator hired by Angela found no evidence to support these claims, as revealed on Sunday’s 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8 Tell-All.
As of August 24, Michael’s GoFundMe had amassed $45,000 surpassing his revised goal of $25,000. The target is set at $25,000.
Angela expressed her frustration on TikTok, where she criticized the American public for supporting Michael’s fundraiser.
“Did you see Michael made his goal? What is wrong with you, United States of America?!” Angela said, while broadcasting from what appeared to be a public bathroom. “I am totally ashamed right now. Who makes a GoFundMe, makes $25,000 for legal fees when we have people out there who are posting [to raise money] for sick kids, sick moms, or veterans out there who don’t even get $25,000. Wake up, America! This is unacceptable…”
Angela did not hold back her disdain, adding, “$25,000, congratulations Michael. You’re gonna need it.”

In a previous TikTok video, Angela further aired her grievances about Michael’s GoFundMe. Referring to him as:
“Mr. It,” Angela expressed her discontent with Michael’s reaction to the annulment. “Mr. It is saying that he is not understanding why now, he wasn’t expecting this annulment,” Angela ranted. “Well, b*tch, did you not know when I said [during our wedding vows], ‘Obey who, obey what?’ I’m not the submissive Mother Queen, ok?”
Angela continued her tirade:
“What do you think, you can hang in Texas or California or New York and get the little scratch on your lip and then I was gonna sit down? Obviously I know you more than you know me. GoFundMe, my ass! How about GoFundMe and give me back my years I spent on a scammer? Boom!”
Michael’s GoFundMe campaign was launched in August 2024, with the intention of covering the high costs of legal representation due to Angela’s legal actions. In his campaign description, Michael expressed his appreciation for any support, acknowledging the difficult financial situations many people face.
“I am asking all my fans to help – whatever you can give I would deeply appreciate,” he wrote. “I understand all of us are having hard times and I hate to ask others for money support but it seems like due to the legal actions brought against me I have to ask.”
The fundraising effort followed widespread criticism of Angela’s behavior towards Michael during the Season 8 Tell-All episodes. Viewers took to social media to condemn Angela’s actions, prompting calls for TLC and the producers of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? to address the situation and support Michael.
