‘Love Island USA’ Reunion: Nicole Jacky Exposes Kendall Washington’s Lies!
During the Love Island USA Season 6 reunion, Nicole Jacky took Kendall Washington to task for allegedly lying about the origins of a leaked explicit video, leading to a heated exchange that unfolded on the Peacock broadcast Monday.
Host Ariana Madix steered the discussion toward the couple’s post-show relationship status, prompting Kendall to share that “it’s been a bit tough coming on the outside, but just trying to communicate and work things [out].” Nicole, however, was quick to interject, stating, “Communicate? You’ve not been communicating and you never have been.” The 26-year-old reality star then added, “You’ve lied to my face.”
Ariana Madix, eager to clarify the situation, asked, “What was the lie?” Kendall, visibly unsettled, struggled to articulate his side of the story as he attempted to explain the circumstances surrounding the leaked video.
Following the finale in July, Kendall addressed the situation on Instagram, suggesting that the video had been shared by someone from his past whom he trusted. Despite these initial statements, Kendall admitted during the reunion, “I should’ve told Nicole the full truth [about] when it happened and I didn’t.”
Nicole interrupted, revealing that she had learned from fellow Islander JaNa Craig that the video was filmed in a hotel room and was sent by Kendall to someone he had met on a dating app shortly before his appearance on the show. “So I just want to say something because obviously the video is not OK,” she said. “Nobody deserves that. Everybody in this room can agree that it’s f–ked up.”
Nicole continued, “However, I think if you say you love somebody … you need to be honest. Instead of saying [the video] is from years ago.”
Kendall responded by admitting he wasn’t prepared to be upfront with Nicole after his world was upended upon discovering the video’s leak. “All I wanted to do was just have you there,” he confessed. “I didn’t know how to handle the situation.”
Nicole expressed frustration, accusing Kendall of distancing himself and only reaching out when it was convenient. Washington countered, stating he had made several attempts to contact Nicole, only to be met with silence.
Despite the confrontation, Nicole confirmed that the couple, who finished in fourth place on the dating series, were still together. The tension between them was palpable as they filmed the reunion at Chelsea Studios in New York City on August 14.
