Drew Sidora Allegedly Under Investigation By the Feds for Scamming Makeup Artist
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora is under fire following serious allegations made by her former makeup artist.
The artist has publicly accused Drew of being a “scammer” and hinted at a potential federal investigation into her financial dealings.
The controversy began when the makeup artist took to Twitter, airing grievances about unpaid services. In a series of direct messages and posts, the artist suggested that Drew’s alleged failure to pay might have led to federal scrutiny for fraud.
The artist’s bold claims included screenshots of their communication, which added fuel to the ongoing dispute.
Drew responded swiftly to these accusations, taking to social media to address the claims directly. In her rebuttal, Sidora vehemently denied being a scammer and dismissed the notion of any federal investigation. She assured her followers that the allegations were unfounded and maintained her innocence amidst the controversy.
This public dispute is expected to be a major storyline in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where such dramatic incidents often become central to the show’s narrative.
Adding to the drama, former RHOA star Sheree Whitfield has weighed in on the situation, expressing her skepticism about Drew’s authenticity. In a podcast appearance on “Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef,” which aired on June 13, Whitfield criticized Sidora for what she described as pretense. “When Drew put that tweet out there, I was thinking, ‘Girl, I have so much information about what you, or what your husband is doing. So don’t go there, honey,’” Sheree recalled, referencing a tweet by Sidora regarding her financial situation.
Sheree continued to question Drew’s credibility, suggesting that Drew’s staff, which was portrayed as extensive, might be more for show than a reality. “When people come on camera, they want to pretend. You think she really still has a staff of nine right now when we’re not taping?” Sheree asked. “She’s a fake. She’s a fraud.”
The criticism did not stop there. Sheree expressed her disappointment over Kandi Burruss’ involvement in the drama, revealing her frustration about Kandi talking behind her back instead of addressing rumors directly. Despite this, Sheree later accepted Kandi’s apology, acknowledging their longstanding friendship.
In contrast, Sheree found a more positive shift in her interactions with Kenya Moore.
“Since she had Brooklyn, I’ve seen a different side of her, a softer side, a more relatable side. And I like it,” Sheree noted. “She’s fun. She loves to laugh. Who knew?”
