Ariana Madix Addresses Tom Sandoval Suing Her Over Rachel Leviss Videos
‘Love Island‘ host Ariana Madix finally addressed the drama surrounding Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval’s recent lawsuit against her during a Tuesday appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
When host Andy Cohen brought up the lawsuit, which Sandoval filed in July, Madix, 39, simply stated, “That was a really bad day.” Cohen, 56, then speculated if her “bad days are over,” to which Ariana responded with a hopeful laugh, “That would be great.”
Ariana and Tom, 42, were together for nearly a decade before their relationship ended following Sandoval’s affair with “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss. The infidelity came to light when Madix discovered intimate videos of Rachel, 29, on Tom’s phone.
Leviss subsequently sued both Ariana and Sandoval in February for revenge porn, eavesdropping, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy—claims that both parties have denied.
Adding to the drama, Sandoval sued Madix last month for allegedly accessing the explicit footage without his “authorization.” He later dropped the claim, stating he had been misled by his lawyer.
Andy asked Ariana whether she believed Tom’s assertion that he had no intention of suing her and that it was his lawyer’s doing. Madix responded with an exaggerated shrug and murmured, “I don’t know.”
While Ariana kept her comments brief, her co-stars have been vocal about the situation. Katie Maloney, on a recent episode of the “Disrespectfully” podcast, expressed doubt that Sandoval was unaware of the lawsuit’s implications, noting that he deactivated his Instagram ahead of time.
“I think [he] did know the gravity of what was going to happen,” Maloney, 37, said.
Scheana Shay also weighed in on the controversy, calling Tom “s–ty” on Instagram. “What are you thinking?” the “Good as Gold” singer, 39, questioned. “I think it negates any remorse that you tried to show at the reunion. … F–k off.”
In response to the lawsuit, Madix’s lawyer condemned Tom for “tormenting” her, stating that he “has clearly learned nothing.”
