Brittany Cartwright SLAMS Jax Taylor for his Alleged Lies About Cancer Research Donations
Brittany Cartwright has criticized her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, following his request for financial contributions and his alleged false claims regarding donations to cancer research.
The Valley star, who parted ways with Jax in February after nearly five years of marriage, shared a video of her ex via Instagram Story on Friday.
In the clip, Jax, 45, promoted his Cameo account, stating, “I’m now on Cameo, so hit me up. I’d love to help you guys out. Also, you’re helping me out because I’ll be donating my money to cancer research. Actually, esophageal cancer, because obviously that is near and dear to my heart, so hit me up. I’d love to shoot you a message.”
Brittany, 35, responded by overlaying the video with the text, “Just realized Jax has this on his cameo and it’s disgusting because he hasn’t donated a dime. FYI @cameo.”
She deleted her post shortly after. Although there has been no confirmation regarding whether Taylor will indeed contribute to the cause, his personal connection to cancer is significant. His father, Ronald Cauchi, passed away from esophageal cancer in December 2017.
At the time of his father’s death, Jax shared his grief on Twitter, now known as X: “My heart is broken. I lost my best friend and the best man I have ever met last night. I love you so much dad I can’t even breathe anymore. Only person not letting me fall right now is my amazing girlfriend [Cartwright].”
A source informed Page Six on Saturday that the Cameo video in question was created “three years ago” and that Taylor has participated in various charitable events, donating both his time and money.
Despite this, Brittany’s recent allegations have resonated with many on social media, who recall Taylor’s history of dishonesty.
One commenter expressed support for Cartwright, stating, “Brittany doesn’t care about him anymore and I love it.” This sentiment reflects a broader discontent with Jax’s past behavior, including his dishonesty during Season 6 of Vanderpump Rules regarding an affair with former co-star Faith Stowers.
Taylor eventually admitted to the infidelity.
Another fan criticized Jax’s recent behavior on “House of Villains,” noting, “I’m happy she’s calling him out. I think she realized he is a known liar when he made up a lie about her on the show.”
In January, Brittany had previously accused Taylor of misrepresenting her health on their podcast, “When Reality Hits,” after he told castmates she had suffered a stroke.
She expressed her frustration, stating, “I don’t want to say that he was lying by any means. He was just worried about me.”
Taylor has acknowledged his role in the breakdown of his marriage and is currently addressing personal issues. He entered a mental health facility last month, with his representative confirming he was facing “struggles.”
Following his stay, Jax posted an Instagram photo of himself with his son, Cruz, 3, captioned, “Trying to get better for you buddy, daddy loves you so much.”
