Offset Likes A Shady Post About Cardi B Filing For Divorce!
Offset seems to be giving Cardi B’s divorce filing his seal of approval.
On Thursday, the “Clout” rapper “liked” an Instagram post that reported he had been “slapped with divorce papers amid being accused of cheating.”
The move left many fans puzzled, noting the unusual nature of his social media engagement.
While Offset, 32, has yet to publicly comment on the split, he was seen in an Instagram Story video rapping along to lyrics that suggest a single status and old tensions, from a song that has not yet been released.
The announcement of their separation, which Page Six broke on Thursday, follows nearly seven years of marriage.
Cardi B’s representative confirmed that the star, who is currently pregnant, filed for divorce the day before and is seeking full custody of their two children, Kulture, 6, and Wave, 2.
A source revealed, “They’ve grown apart,” adding that this was the primary reason behind Cardi’s decision.
Hours after the split news, Cardi B, 31, took to Instagram to announce she is expecting her third child. She shared, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!”
Cardi continued, “I love you so much and cannot wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns, and tests laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Despite their history of breakups and reconciliations, a source tells us Cardi is determined to move forward this time.
She last declared herself “single” in December 2023, stating, “I want to start 2024 fresh, open. I’m curious for a new life, a new beginning. I’m excited.”
However, the “Up” rapper admitted to rekindling her relationship with Offset on New Year’s Eve. The couple later showcased their renewed bond with public displays of affection and a family trip to Disneyland Paris.
In a May interview with Rolling Stone, Cardi was hesitant to define their relationship status, saying, “We think it through because we do love each other. It’s not even about ‘How do you leave a partner?’ How do you stop talking to your best friend?”
Offset, who has three additional children from previous relationships, was also at the center of cheating rumors two months later, which he denied during an Instagram Live.
