‘Love Island USA’ Star JaNa Craig Reveals She Doesn’t Want to Move In with Kenny Rodriguez Yet
JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez may have found a deep connection on Love Island USA, but they are taking their time with their relationship as they navigate their new reality.
During an appearance on the July 31 episode of The Viall Files podcast, JaNa, 27, discussed her thoughts on relocating to Dallas to be with Kenny, 24.
“I don’t want to move [to Dallas] right away. I think we could do our own thing, change our work schedules so we can spend time [and do], like, a year of visiting each other — or less maybe — but me moving to Dallas right now would be crazy,” she explained.
The couple met during Season 6 of Love Island USA, traveling from Las Vegas and Dallas to the show’s Fiji villa. Although they left the villa as a committed pair, JaNa is hesitant to make any immediate moves.
“He leaves [Los Angeles, where the podcast episode was taped] today and I’m so sad! It was like, ‘Oh, we’re gonna be good and FaceTime all the time,’” she lamented.
“But knowing that I’m [here] until Tuesday and he’s leaving today, I was like, ‘This sucks because we spent every day together for the past month and a half,’” she reveals.
Kenny shared similar feelings, revealing on the podcast that he’ll miss JaNa’s affectionate gestures. “I think she makes me feel great,” he said.
“Like, she’ll put her hands through my hair. That’s her love language and she does a great job at making me feel appreciated.” JaNa noted that Kenny’s constant compliments are a sign of his deep care for her. “He’ll be like, ‘You’re so beautiful,’ and I’ll be like, ‘Kenny, stop! [I] love it,’” she added.
Despite their strong bond, JaNa and Kenny have not yet consummated their relationship.
JaNa clarified, “We did not have sex in the Hideaway. Mom, I did not have sex [on the show]! We did other things, but it wasn’t [sex]. Personally, you’ll never catch me [hooking up on camera].”
Looking ahead, JaNa remains optimistic about their future together. “I think we have a bright future … and I said, ‘I could see this long-term.’ We’ll see,” she said.
Kenny echoed her sentiments, noting that their first date was a significant indicator of their strong connection. “We spent eight hours on that first date, [which] kind of kicked off where we’re at,” he explained.
With the show behind them, JaNa rated Kenny an 11 “on a scale of 1 to 10” in the bedroom, adding, “He’s really good at surprises. Every day he surprises me with something new.”
