‘Vanderpump Rules’ Alum Rachel Leviss Reveals Advice Stassi Schroeder Told Her

On a revealing episode of Rachel Goes Rogue, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, former cast member of Vanderpump Rules, shared intriguing advice she once received from Stassi Schroeder.

During their time together on the show, Stassi imparted a memorable piece of wisdom, advising Rachel that on Vanderpump Rules, “The worse you behave, the more you get rewarded.” This advice, Rachel admitted, always lingered in her mind.

Despite this, Leviss chose not to embrace the suggested approach immediately. She explained her reluctance was due to her aspirations in the pageant world where she aimed to be a positive role model and titleholder.

“I never acted on it. Because I had plans on being a [pageant] titleholder and on being a positive role model,” Leviss revealed. It was only after leaving the pageant scene that she felt free to fully engage with the show’s dynamics without restraint, stating, “I was like, ‘Well why am I monitoring myself?’ I have no reason to monitor myself anymore. I’m not going to be a titleholder. Might as well give the show my all.”

Rachel’s tenure on Vanderpump Rules culminated dramatically after Season 10, following a public scandal involving her and Tom Sandoval, which led to their split and considerable backlash from fans and castmates alike.

The fallout was particularly palpable during the season’s reunion, where tensions flared and grievances were aired, notably by Ariana Madix, Sandoval’s then-girlfriend whom he had cheated on with Rachel.

Reflecting on the reunion, Stassi Schroeder shared her mixed feelings during an episode of her former podcast, “Straight Up with Stassi.” While she criticized Leviss’s actions, she also empathized with her, especially after Bethenny Frankel’s commentary on her own podcast, “Just B.

Bethenny had expressed discomfort with how Rachel was treated at the reunion, prompting Stassi to imagine her own daughter in such a situation.

“The only time I felt a little bad for [Leviss] was hearing all the words that were said to her at the reunion,” Schroeder said.

Bethenny’s reflections struck a chord with Schroeder, particularly her concerns about how harsh words could impact her own child.

“It’s because Bethenny said, ‘I have a daughter,’” Stassi noted. “So I was just picturing a bunch of people saying these words to Hartford. And I’m like ‘No, no, no.’ Like I’m just trying to stay back in it. Like this is not about Hartford.”

Vanderpump Rules is on pause.
