‘Sister Wives’ Star Meri Brown Says Robyn and Kody Have No Place In Her New Life!

Sister Wives star Meri Brown has declared that her ex-husband Kody and his wife Robyn no longer have a role in her new, independent life following their split.

Sister Wives star Meri Brown recently opened up about her evolving relationship with her ex-husband, Kody Brown, and his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, following her separation from Kody.

In January 2023, after 32 years of marriage, Meri announced her decision to part ways with Kody, who remains married to Robyn.

In a candid conversation on the July 29 episode of The Sarah Fraser Show, Meri expressed uncertainty about Robyn’s feelings regarding the split.

“I don’t know. I don’t know,” she admitted, reflecting on the bond she once shared with Robyn. “I think that she did want me to stay. I feel like that she was sad. I feel like that she had this idea, when she came in the family, of, you know, this big plural family. I really think that.”

However, Meri also acknowledged inconsistencies in both Robyn and Kody’s behavior, adding that there was a lot of confusion during the time of her departure. Despite this, she revealed that her interactions with Kody and Robyn are limited, though they still communicate occasionally.

“I’ve seen them on occasion and talked and texted a little bit but it’s not, you know, I’m in this place where I’m moving forward with my life,” Meri shared.

She emphasized that her focus is now on the people helping her move forward, rather than on her past relationships.

Robyn, in an interview with PEOPLE ahead of the latest season premiere of Sister Wives, discussed the difficulties of transitioning from a plural marriage to being Kody’s sole partner, describing it as “hell.” She opened up about Kody’s struggles with the breakups, admitting, “There have been times he’s tried to self-sabotage and sabotage us. I’ve had to work hard not to let him.”

Reflecting on the multiple separations within their family, Robyn voiced her feelings of failure: “I feel like we failed,” she confessed. “The commitment we made – we were all in this together. We screwed it up.”

Kody also shared his sentiments, acknowledging that he “could have done a lot better” and described the three breakups as “painful.” He remains hopeful about maintaining friendships with his ex-partners, noting their permanent connection through their children. “But you have to hope we still have a friendship in the future. Because we’re bound forever through our kids,” he stated.

Meri also discussed her personal life post-separation, including a brief relationship with a man named Amos, which marked her first dating experience after leaving Kody. She revealed that she and Amos went public with their relationship in January after dating since October 2023 but had separated by February. Meri recounted the challenges they faced, particularly the public scrutiny:

“I knew what to expect, she knew what to expect, but he had no idea,” she explained. “We tried to just [be] like, ‘Hey, listen, this is what’s going to happen. If you want to go public with the fact that we’re dating, they’re going to make things up. It just is what it is.”
