The icy landscapes of Iceland mirrored the reception Corona received upon arriving at her new home. Greeted by her boyfriend Igni, who presented her with flowers, it quickly became clear that romance might not be his forte.

“What I expected was a big romantic gesture,” Corona confessed to the producers. “And then what I got, was kind of like, how I reckon he probably kisses his grandma.”

The couple’s discomfort didn’t thaw much after arriving at Igni’s place, where Corona, an aspiring midwife, felt underwhelmed by his lack of preparation for her arrival.

Drama Unfolds in Turkey

In Turkey, Shekinah and her boyfriend Sarper enjoyed a casual meet-up with Sarper’s cousin, where Sarper shared his childhood struggles of being bullied for being chubby. However, the atmosphere tensed up when a belly dancer appeared, engaging Sarper and igniting Shekinah’s ire.

Adding fuel to the fire, Shekinah revealed that Sarper’s ex, Nora, had reached out to her wanting to share insights about her past relationship with Sarper. “She reached out to me and she told me that she had stuff she wanted to tell me about her relationship with you and she didn’t want to text about it, so I’m gonna meet with her,” Shekinah explained, seeking the full story that Sarper might be withholding.

Ex-Girlfriend Drama

Sarper was quick to dismiss his ex’s intentions, labeling the claims as “bulls–t” and accusing Turkish girls of exaggerating. “I said to you everything about myself. I don’t remember that thing between us in details [sic],” he defensively told Shekinah. In a moment of confusion, he lamented to the producers, “I don’t understand what Shekinah thinks right now. I mean, that girl, ex of mine, why she reach to my girlfriend [sic]? If she wants to say, something good about me, she can make a comment, put a heart, something, good guy. Say you are created for each other. Say something like this, but no.”

Secrets and Uncertainties in Indonesia

Meanwhile, halfway across the world, James was en route to Indonesia, anxious to reunite with Meitalia after five weeks apart. Unbeknownst to her family, Meitalia was stressed about how to reveal that James was moving to Indonesia permanently. Complicating matters was her fear that James’s reluctance to have children would disappoint her parents.

Cultural Adjustments and Financial Strains

Back in China, Josh was struggling to adapt to his new life and the role reversal with his wife, Lily, now being the main provider. The couple was deep into planning their second wedding — a lavish affair meant to include Lily’s family this time. Josh aimed for a traditional Chinese ceremony, while Lily hoped to give her family a celebration they could all be part of, showing the tension between their desires and financial realities.
