Gina Kirschenheiter Claims Alexis Bellino FAKED Confrontation With Shannon Beador!
In the riveting season 18 premiere of Real Housewives of Orange County, tensions flared as Gina Kirschenheiter weighed in on the heated confrontation between Alexis Bellino and Shannon Beador, suggesting Alexis’ actions were not spontaneous but “practiced” and “calculated.”
During the episode, viewers saw Shannon challenge returning castmate Alexis, currently dating Shannon’s ex John Janssen, regarding a past legal issue involving Alexis’ former husband, Jim Bellino.
The discussion quickly soured as Alexis appeared disinterested in finding common ground. The drama escalated as it was revealed that Alexis had not only adopted the same breed of dog as Shannon but was also employing her personal trainer.
Emily Simpson humorously likened Alexis’ behavior to the film ‘Single White Female,’ a comparison that Gina found amusing.
“Emily’s so funny, honestly,” Gina shared with Decider. “Like, I die laughing when I watch it.” Gina disputed Alexis’ claim that Shannon incessantly discussed her and John.
“The problem was that, every time Alexis would come to anything, she would start in with this narrative that Shannon just has to stop talking about them and we’re like, ‘Shannon is not – she is like actively trying to not talk about you. Like, that is her least favorite topic to talk about,’” Gina explained.
She emphasized that Shannon was focusing on bigger priorities, particularly her health and wellness, rather than obsessing over Alexis and John.
The climax of their confrontation came when Alexis pointedly told Shannon,
“There’s the door, Shannon Beador!” Gina criticized Alexis for the remark, indicating it seemed rehearsed. “She clearly practiced all that in the mirror before,” Gina noted. “And that, to me, even feels like you’re not giving it a real fair chance … Like, you clearly didn’t just think up, ‘There’s the door, Shannon Beador,’ on the fly.”
Gina expressed that the entire ordeal seemed orchestrated by Alexis to position herself against Shannon, rather than an effort to mend fences. “The whole thing just feels very calculated to me, honestly,” Gina stated. Despite the conflict, Gina wished no ill will towards Alexis and John, hoping instead for everyone to move forward.
Additionally, Gina addressed Shannon’s post-DUI relationship with alcohol during an interview on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, calling it a “social experiment” as Shannon navigated her consumption.
“Shannon at least being able to look at it is a good thing. Now if she’s in this space where she’s like, ‘Look guys, I’m willing to accept that my relationship with alcohol was not good. Right now I’m in a space where I want to see if I can responsibly, socially drink … That’s her right to do that.”
Reflecting on her own journey to sobriety following a DUI in 2019, Gina stressed the importance of personal discovery and support in recovery. “It’s her journey and I am not about pressuring people [to stop drinking] because that doesn’t work,” she explained.
Gina emphasized that her path should not dictate Shannon’s, acknowledging that each person’s relationship with alcohol is unique.
Through the ups and downs, Gina affirmed her commitment to supporting Shannon, even challenging her at times to foster growth.
“There were moments this season where I did feel like I doubted [Shannon’s personal growth] and I did check her,” Gina revealed. “And I think that she allowed me to do that. We’re in a really good space because she understands that it’s all coming out of love.”
