Shannon Beador’s Ex John Janssen DENIES Her $75k Facelift Gift Claim: ‘Completely False’

In the latest drama from the Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon Beador’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, is setting the record straight on a $75,000 financial feud.

According to exclusive details obtained by In Touch, John Janssen is firmly rejecting Shannon’s claim that the money he gave her during their relationship was a gift.

The juicy legal saga began in March when John, 61, dropped a bombshell lawsuit against Shannon, 59, alleging she had failed to repay loans he provided her for plastic surgery. John’s lawsuit accused Shannon of breach of contract and promissory fraud after he allegedly forked over $40,000 in 2022 for her facelift and another $35,000 in May via personal check.

John claimed that Shannon had promised to repay the loans but had failed to do so despite multiple requests. According to the legal documents, he’s seeking a total of $75,000 plus interest, arguing that Shannon’s promises to repay were nothing more than “fabricated” assurances. John’s amended lawsuit now takes a swing at Shannon’s defense, which asserts that the money was intended as a gift rather than a loan.

John’s amended complaint emphatically denies Shannon’s assertion.

“Defendant knew when she made her false promises and representations that Defendant did not intend to pay for such services,” John’s suit states. “Despite promising to repay both Loans, Defendant’s subsequent actions have made clear that Defendant’s promises were fabricated, and she never intended to follow through on her promises.”

He further alleges that Shannon’s claim of the money being a “gift” is “completely false” and accuses her of intentionally misleading him to secure the $75,000.

John’s lawyer has added fuel to the fire, stating:

“Said actions were done with the intent to injure, vex, and annoy Mr. Janssen, or in conscious disregard of Mr. Janssen’s rights, and to benefit Defendant, and punitive damages should be awarded to Mr. Janssen against Defendant, in amounts to be set forth at the time of trial herein.”

In addition to the five-figure sum, John is also asking for “reasonable attorneys’ fees, to the fullest extent permitted by law,” which could add to Shannon’s mounting legal woes. Shannon has yet to file an official response to the amended lawsuit in court.

The drama doesn’t stop there. John is now dating Shannon’s former RHOC co-star, Alexis Bellino, and their blossoming romance is set to be featured on the upcoming season of the show. Meanwhile, Shannon has had a rough patch of her own after her DUI arrest last year, adding another layer of turmoil to her already tumultuous year.
