Lala Kent Apologizes After David Arquette Calls Out Her NASTY “Attitude”

Lala Kent has responded with an apology after David Arquette described her as “not the friendliest,” during their encounter on the set of the 2020 movie “Spree.” The reality star’s remarks came after Arquette’s comments aired on Watch What Happens Live on Monday night, sparking a quick response from Lala via Instagram Stories.

“I apologize if I was not friendly to you on the set of ‘Spree,’” Lala, 33, wrote on Tuesday. She elaborated, “I’d like to point out I was on set with many people, you being one of them, who are well known, established actors. I am a girl on reality TV. I felt intimidated and a bit like I did not belong, all while being incredibly grateful for the opportunity.”

Lala Kent clarified her feelings, stating, “I’m sorry if that came off as an attitude. It was not my intent.” Her statement aimed to address David Arquette’s perception of her demeanor during their movie promotion.

In response to Lala’s apology, David Arquette, 52, shared her message on his own Instagram Story, acknowledging the situation. “I got caught up in the gossip nature of the club house,” he wrote, referencing the talk show set of Watch What Happens Live. “I’m also a ball of nerves in general and could have [taken] the whole exchange out of context.” Arquette also expressed gratitude for Kent’s response.

During his WWHL appearance, Arquette mentioned that he and Lala did not share scenes in Spree but crossed paths while promoting the film. When host Andy Cohen asked if Arquette felt like he was filming an episode of Vanderpump Rules during their interaction, he replied, “Exactly.”

Arquette made his debut on the WWHL stage, and despite his self-described awkwardness, he expressed his appreciation for the experience. “Thanks @bravoandy (despite my dyslexia and all around awkwardness) for having me on with @daniellecabralofficial,” he captioned a video from the show, adding a playful note to fans to “zoom in on [his] necklace,” which featured a charm of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Gorga.

Lala, a mainstay on Watch What Happens Live and a prominent cast member on Vanderpump Rules since 2015, has been busy with other projects as well. She recently appeared on The Valley for its inaugural season, and according to a source exclusive to Page Six, Kent is in “early talks” to join the show for its upcoming seasons. The insider also noted that Kent remains close with the cast of Vanderpump Rules, describing them as her “very good friends and mom crew.”
