‘RHOC’ Star Shannon Beador SHADES NeNe Leakes!
Shannon Beador threw some serious shade NeNe Leakes‘ way, sparking new drama for the ever-evolving Real Housewives franchise.
In the latest buzz surrounding The Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon Beador is making waves with her candid revelations about the new season and beyond.
The reality star, who has been at the center of discussions due to her recent DUI and its fallout, has opened up in a revealing interview with Bustle, shedding light on everything from her controversial return to the show to her thoughts on former co-stars.
Shannon, who completed her court-ordered community service ahead of schedule, addresses her DUI head-on. “I had a lot of reservations about returning to RHOC after my DUI,” Shannon admits. “But to overcome difficult situations, I confront them head-on. I committed right before filming Season 18 to tell every detail about what was going on in my life.” Despite her commitment to transparency, Shannon remains publicly active in her social circles, which has not gone unnoticed.
In a candid Zoom chat, Shannon is also asked about potential new cast members and who she would prefer not to work with. While she hints that Real Housewives of New York star Sonja Morgan could be a good addition, she expresses clear reservations about former RHOC stars Peggy Sulahian, Lydia McLaughlin, and Jen Armstrong. “I would say Nene Leakes,” she says, referencing the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum. “I read she wasn’t friendly and had a bit of an ego on Atlanta. But maybe she’s nicer now than years ago.”
The conversation shifts to Alexis Bellino’s return to the series, which has sparked significant fan interest. Shannon reveals her stance, stating, “I can be cordial with anyone, but right out of the gate, I made it clear I didn’t want a close friendship with her. Also, Alexis was let go after Season 8 for a reason. She hasn’t been on Housewives for 10 years, but I have. So, we’ll see if fans enjoy her again or not.” The rekindled drama between Shannon and Alexis has certainly captured attention, with Alexis making a notable comeback in the first episode, including the memorable line, “There’s the door, Shannon Beador.”
Addressing the fallout of the Tres Amigas, Shannon reflects on her dynamic with former friends Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson. “Every falling out with Tamra is made public. That’s what she does,” Shannon comments. “But Tamra was the one who decided not to be part of the Tres Amigas live shows.” She further reveals, “After reflecting on my relationships, I realized my friendship with Tamra was nothing but toxic. I’ve buried things under the rug over the years, and I’m not going to do that anymore.”
Despite the turbulence with Tamra, Shannon has nothing but praise for Vicki Gunvalson. “Vicki is one of the most incredible friends I’ve ever had. She’s taken care of me and had my back on and off the show,” Shannon shares. The duo is even embarking on a Shannon & Vicki live comedy tour, highlighting their enduring friendship. Shannon also expresses a desire to see Vicki back on the show and is grateful for her friend’s appearance in the current season.
When asked about former cast members she’d like to see return, Shannon mentions Gretchen Rossi. “We never forged a relationship because Tamra had issues with her, but I was at an event recently and spent some time talking with her. She’s actually a very kind person.”
