Kim Zolciak APPLAUD Bravo for Firing Kenya Moore: “Best Thing That Could Ever Happen to the Show!”

Kim Zolciak is giving Bravo a standing ovation for their recent decision to fire Kenya Moore from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

In an exclusive chat with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Kim Zolciak, who once shared the RHOA stage with Kenya, praised the network’s choice, calling it “the best thing that could ever happen to that show.”

Kim Zolciak, who had her fair share of drama with Kenya Moore during their Season 5 showdown, didn’t hold back her feelings about her former co-star.

“You meet people and you have relationships with people and you get angry or you get frustrated, but when you’re just I think the core of who you are or your character is heavily flawed, I think that’s a great decision to be honest,” she stated.

The controversy surrounding Kenya Moore reached a fever pitch when she reportedly shocked attendees at her salon grand opening in June by displaying posters of rookie RHOA star Brittany Eady allegedly engaging in oral s*x. The scandal led to Kenya’s suspension from filming and her subsequent exit from the remainder of Season 16.

As the show retools, there’s speculation about who might fill Kenya’s spot. Page Six has reported that RHOA alum Phaedra Parks is in talks to make a return. Kim is all in favor of Parks’ comeback. “I love Phaedra. That would be great. … She’s so funny,” she gushed. “I love her.”

Despite her enthusiasm for Parks, Kim made it clear that she’s not looking to reclaim her peach anytime soon. “I literally will never go back to ‘Housewives of Atlanta.’ Like, literally. When I think about it, I had so much fun … but also, in Connecticut, where I grew up, if you don’t like somebody, it’s like, ‘We don’t like you. I don’t like you. I’m not going to talk to you,’” she explained.

Kim Zolciak shared that her experiences on RHOA left her with more than a few scars. “Down here, what I learned and learned the hard way was we go to lunch and have this great conversation and then you go do … an interview and you talk all this crap about me,” she lamented. “I was so upset the first couple seasons. Like, ‘What? We just had lunch.’ And then I’m in my interview like, ‘Oh my God, she’s so great, blah blah blah,’” she shared. “Really, I mean, when I say I have PTSD from things, I really do.”

Kim Zolciak’s candid remarks come as she prepares for her new venture, Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets, which premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on MTV. The show, featuring Kim Zolciak alongside Chet Hanks, Ally Brooke, Macy Gray, Johnny Weir, O.T. Genasis, Tyler Posey, and Josie Canseco, promises a mix of drama and secrets — though Kim Zolciak’s reality TV drama seems to be well behind her, at least for now.
