Shannon Beador Confirms End of Friendship With Tamra Judge!
The friendship between Real Housewives of Orange County stars Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge may be on the rocks, with little hope for reconciliation.
In a recent interview, Shannon Beador shared her feelings about the ongoing tensions with her co-star, indicating a permanent rift may be forming.
“I don’t think we’ll be friends again,” Beador, 60, told Us Weekly. “Looking back, it seems like every season with Tamra, there’s always been some issue she has with me. Whether I did something or failed to do something, it always ends up that we are at odds. It’s clear, we don’t need to be friends.”
Shannon expressed her frustration about feeling like she was always trying to prove her worth as a friend to Tamra, which she now recognizes as unhealthy.
“She says she walks on eggshells around me,” Beador recounted. “I’m sorry she feels that way, but honestly, I felt the same around her.”
The breaking point in their relationship came shortly after BravoCon in November 2023.
Following the event, the two, along with Vicki Gunvalson, another member of their famed ‘Tres Amigas’ trio, performed at two live shows in Arizona.
The tension was palpable, and it was then Shannon realized their friendship might be irreparable.
“We had two shows in Phoenix right after BravoCon. At one point, someone offered to buy me a drink, and I accepted without thinking of the implications,” Shannon shared. “That night, I realized I couldn’t even accept a drink without worrying about people thinking I was sneaking alcohol. It’s such a strained situation that it hurts.”
Tamra later accused Shannon of secretly drinking between shows, an allegation Shannon vehemently denies.
She was arrested for DUI in September 2023 and has since been working on her recovery, focusing on healthier lifestyle choices.
Shannon explained that their fall-out is exacerbated by Tamra’s recent bonding with Alexis Bellino, Shannon’s ex’s new partner.
“It’s confusing and upsetting to see her get close with Alexis. It feels like betrayal,” Shannon stated.
Despite the drama, Shannon is finding joy in her current projects and spending time with Vicki.
“We’re traveling the country with our live show, having fun and keeping it drama-free. It’s refreshing to perform for people who are there just to enjoy the show,” she added.
The ongoing feud and its implications continue to unfold as The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo.
