Scheana Shay has expressed regret over her continued friendship with Tom Sandoval following his controversial legal actions against his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix.
The Vanderpump Rules star openly criticized Tom for what she described as his “cruel” and “vile” behavior, particularly in light of the notorious scandal that unfolded during Season 10 of the Bravo series.
In a candid Instagram Story video, Shay shared her disapproval of Sandoval’s lawsuit, which involves accusations of Madix invading his privacy by accessing explicit videos on his phone.
“Tom Sandoval — s–t thing to do after a s–tty thing you already did. Like, what are you thinking?” Scheana expressed her dismay, emphasizing her decision to distance herself from Tom. “This is not someone I want to be friends with. This is not who I align my values with. Call me a f–kin’ idiot, okay? I said it at the finale, ‘Don’t make me look like an idiot.’ Welp, you did.”
Shay continued to discuss the lawsuit, finding it particularly reprehensible given the former couple’s long history together.
“Suing Ariana, it’s like, y’all were together for like a decade. You shared a mortgage. You shared passcodes. She knew your password. So, this invasion of privacy? F–k off,” she stated bluntly.
The lawsuit, filed by Sandoval, accuses Madix of unauthorized access to his phone, alleging she made copies of explicit videos of Rachel “Raquel” Leviss and distributed them.
This legal move has drawn sharp criticism from various quarters, including Ariana’s lawyer, Jordan Susman, who condemned Tom’s actions as a continuation of torment toward Madix.
“For Mr. Sandoval to go from begging Ms. Madix for forgiveness to blaming her for his wrongdoing speaks for itself,” Susman stated. “He has clearly learned nothing and believes it necessary to continue torturing Ms. Madix in a vain effort to rehabilitate his image.”
This controversy comes in the wake of Rachel‘ own legal complaints against Ariana and Tom, which were filed earlier this year.
Leviss claimed that intimate FaceTime calls with Sandoval, which she did not consent to record, were used against her.
Tom’s legal team has countered these claims by asserting that the videos were part of a consensual exchange between Rachel and Tom.
