Jennifer Aydin Denies Using Ozempic Amid Rapid Weight Loss: ‘I am not on Ozempic!’
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jennifer Aydin set the record straight about her weight loss journey during her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen.
Amidst swirling rumors and pointed comments from fans, Jennifer firmly denied using the popular weight loss drug Ozempic. “Oh no, I am not on Ozempic! So everybody who’s yelling at me saying my head is too big for my body, it’s just my hair,” she exclaimed, addressing the critiques head-on.
However, in a candid reveal, she shared that her slimmed-down figure is thanks to another medication.
“I’m on Mounjaro, OK?! So it’s Mounjaro, it’s 2.5,” she clarified, referring to her weekly dosage of the drug, which like Ozempic, is used for weight management.
Jennifer, 47, expressed her satisfaction with her current weight and the surge in energy she’s experienced. This disclosure comes as Aydin frequently finds herself responding to speculation in her social media comments about the secrets behind her weight loss.
Below a recent post showcasing her toned physique in a blue bikini, followers bombarded her with questions.
“Is it ozempic? every body is on it,” one user queried. Another commented on the dramatic effects of weight loss drugs: “The weight loss from ozempic is so crazy.”
Jennifer Aydin has been transparent about her cosmetic enhancements in the past, including surgeries like a tummy tuck and chin augmentation, likely influenced by her husband, Dr. Bill Aydin, being a plastic surgeon.
In a 2021 interview with Bravo Insider, Jennifer shared insights into the complexities of having her husband perform her surgeries. She recounted how being both a patient and a surgeon’s wife brought unique challenges to their professional and personal dynamics.
“When I was a patient for my tummy tuck, I would call [Bill] for every little thing, and if he didn’t respond to my text right away, because I’m his wife, I would just call, and I’d be like, ‘Is this normal? This just happened. Why is this happening?’…And he’s like, ‘You cannot call me and ambush me when I’m with other patients.’”
This led to a humorous yet firm decision from her husband: “Basically, he was like, ‘I’m never touching you again,'” she revealed. “‘Go to somebody else. Let somebody else handle all your little crazy things.’”
