Lala Kent’s choice of attire for her recent baby shower has sparked quite the discussion among Vanderpump Rules fans after she was spotted in a dress that she had previously mocked when worn by her co-star, Ariana Madix, back in 2021.
The irony was not lost on fans, who quickly pointed out the apparent hypocrisy on social media following the event.
During the baby shower, which took place this past Sunday and was shared on Instagram, Lala donned a blue and white puff dress from the brand Selkie, priced at $295—identical in design, albeit a different color, to the one Ariana wore at Rachel Leviss’ engagement party.
The dress became a point of contention during an episode of their reality show that aired in 2022, where Kent disparaged the style in a confessional, questioning, “Do I look like a b**ch that has puffy sleeves and a f**king tutu in my closet?”
The comment sections under Kent’s post were quickly filled with remarks from viewers recalling her previous criticism.
One user highlighted, “That’s literally the same exact dress Ariana wore,” while another added, “So do you wear tutu dresses. This chick was always jealous of Ariana.”
