Caroline Brooks Accuses Caroline Stanbury of Having a ‘Sugar Daddy’
Caroline Brooks has stirred the pot in the Real Housewives of Dubai circle by claiming that Caroline Stanbury’s friend, Michael Davis, acts as Stanbury’s “sugar daddy,” bankrolling her lifestyle.
This bombshell was dropped in a preview for an upcoming episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
Caroline Brooks recounted an encounter with a “drunk” Davis during a night out in Dubai, where he openly bragged about his financial involvement in Caroline Stanbury’s life.
“He was like, ‘I pay all the bills in that house. I pay for everything,'” Brooks shared. According to her, Davis expressed frustration about Stanbury’s husband, Sergio José Carrallo Pendás, not contributing financially.
“He was saying that Sergio needs to step up and take care of her because right now it’s all on me,” Brooks added.
The revelations didn’t stop there. Brooks, who is also a cast member on RHODubai, revealed in a confessional segment of the show that Davis is responsible for a wide array of expenses in Stanbury’s life.
“When Michael drinks too much, he talks a little too much. Allegedly, Michael pays the mortgage, every utility, clothing, everything,” she disclosed.
Stanbury, a “Ladies of London” alum who has been married to Sergio since 2021, has not yet responded to these allegations.
Her co-star, Ayan, echoed Brooks‘ statements in her own confessional, saying, “Michael pays for all Caroline Stanbury’s bills, Michael pays for Caroline Stanbury’s maid’s bills, do you know that? When he’s drunk he tells you.”
The friendship dynamics within the Real Housewives of Dubai cast have been notably affected by these developments.
Caroline Brooks noted that her once-close relationship with Stanbury began to deteriorate after new cast member Taleen Marie – initially a close friend of Brooks – started to grow closer to Caroline Stanbury.
Taleen shared her perspective on the shifting friendships, attributing the tension to the natural ebb and flow of relationships intensified by the realities of television.
“It’s TV and you see different sides of people and there’s different dynamics with the other women and the drama is all real that happens. And it’s sad because we did have a solid friendship,” Taleen Marie explained to Page Six.
She remains hopeful that there’s a chance for reconciliation, suggesting that their friendship could possibly recover as it “ebbs and flows.”
