Shannon Beador Believes John Janssen is Playing Alexis Bellino For A Fool

Shannon Beador has raised suspicions about John Janssen’s intentions with his new relationship, suggesting that he may be taking advantage of Alexis Bellino. 

In a candid discussion, Shannon Beador appears unfazed by her ex-boyfriend John Janssen’s quick move towards marriage with her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Alexis Bellino.

“That’s John Janssen,” Shannon told E! News. “At two weeks, he said I was his person and his future, so they’re following the John Janssen course. I didn’t get a ring, but I thought right away that I was going to spend the rest of my life with John. He moves very quickly.”

Despite their past relationship, Shannon, who split from the businessman in 2022 after three years together, appears indifferent to Janssen’s rapid engagement. “Good for them, be happy,” she remarked, suggesting that there might be ulterior motives at play. “From the outside looking in, it looks to me that there are ulterior motives on both sides for them to be in a relationship, so we’ll see. I’m grateful that John isn’t in my life because we had a very toxic relationship. I’m grateful.”

The dynamics between Shannon and Alexis are expected to add a layer of intrigue to the upcoming 18th season of RHOC, especially given their shared connection to Janssen. Shannon’s reaction to Alexis’s return to the show after a decade was tinged with incredulity: “Really? Really?” she quipped. “She hasn’t been on the show for 10 years. But, yeah, she’s dating John Janssen now, so let’s bring her back.”

Further complicating their relationship, Alexis and her ex-husband Jim Bellino previously sued Shannon for defamation in 2018, a legal battle Shannon won in 2020. “She started a lawsuit with her ex-husband and I lost a lot of money,” Shannon stated, affirming her stance on not pursuing friendship with Alexis. “So let’s just throw John Janssen out of the equation. I wouldn’t be friends with her.”

Despite the potential for tension, Shannon maintained that she behaved cordially during filming. “I can say with confidence I don’t think I was unkind to her at all, so I can hold my head up high. I don’t know if she can.” Conversely, Alexis anticipated a rocky season with Shannon, admitting, “We start off rocky; it never gets any better after that.”
