Phaedra Parks Returning to ‘RHOA’ After Kenya Moore’s Firing!

Exciting news for Real Housewives of Atlanta fans! Phaedra Parks is in talks to return to the show after Kenya Moore’s departure.

The attorney, who appeared on the Bravo reality series from Season 3 in 2010 to Season 9 in 2017, is currently engaged in discussions with the network regarding Season 16, currently in production.

According to Love B. Scott, who initially reported the development, Phaedra Parks’ existing contract with Bravo’s Married to Medicine presents the primary obstacle to her potential return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Married to Medicine Season 11 is also currently in production.

Reports indicate that Phaedra’s highly praised on-screen chemistry with returning The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams during the recent “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” 15th anniversary special has intensified interest in her comeback.

Phaedra potential return coincides with Kenya’s abrupt departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta during Season 16 filming. Page Six revealed last month that Kenya was indefinitely suspended after causing controversy at her salon grand opening by displaying posters depicting series newcomer Brittany Eady allegedly engaged in a compromising act.

Cameras were reportedly recording at the event where the incident occurred, leading to an investigation being initiated.

Phaedra, on the other hand, faced dismissal from The Real Housewives of Atlanta due to her involvement in a scandal. At the Season 9 reunion, she publicly admitted to spreading a rumor accusing her co-star Kandi Burruss of plotting to drug and assault Porsha.

When asked about offering advice to Kenya, Phaedra responded, “You probably wouldn’t wanna hear my advice.”

Regarding the upcoming season of Married to Medicine she hinted, “It’s going to be an incredible season. Quad [Webb] is back, so that’s going to be interesting. [Lateasha] ‘Sweet Tea’ [Lunceford] is married to [Webb’s ex-husband] Dr. Gregory [Lunceford], so naturally, you’ll see the dynamics with Quad and Sweet Tea. It’s going to be exciting with some very wild engagements.”

Kenya faced official termination during the filming of Season 16 after she circulated intimate photos of a fellow cast member. This decision swiftly followed her initial suspension, which arose when details of her actions became public.

Kenya, a long-standing cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, was officially been fired in the wake of a scandal involving intimate photos of a new cast member. This decision comes just two weeks after Kenya faced initial suspension following revelations about her actions.

The controversy erupted when it was disclosed that Kenya had displayed intimate photos of Brittany Eady, a recent addition to the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast, during a filmed event. The incident quickly garnered widespread attention, leading to Kenya’s suspension from the show.

Sources close to production have now confirmed that the network has chosen to sever all ties with Kenya. Not only has she been prohibited from filming the remainder of the current season, but efforts are underway to remove her entirely from the footage that has already been shot for Season 16. The goal is to ensure she does not appear in any episodes.

Contrary to earlier reports suggesting potential negotiations, there have been no discussions between Kenya and the network regarding her return for future seasons or any other projects. Sources have emphasized that such discussions are not anticipated, marking a definitive conclusion to Moore’s tenure on the show.

Kenya’s dismissal represents a significant shakeup for the series, which has often relied on her for some of its most memorable moments. The decision to sever ties entirely underscores the network’s stance on the seriousness of the incident.

As the network grapples with the complexities of editing Kenya out of Season 16, fans are left wondering about the implications for the show’s dynamics and storyline in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Brittany Eady, central to the controversy, is likely to be a focal point in the unfolding drama of Season 16.
