Lindsay Hubbard Says Carl Radke Lacks Integrity and Betrayed Her!

Lindsay Hubbard accuses ex-boyfriend Carl Radke of a profound betrayal, questioning his integrity in a candid revelation.

Lindsay Hubbard has quickly moved past her breakup with Carl Radke, a sentiment she shared during a June 2024 interview with Spotlight Hamptons.

The Summer House star reflected on her emotional journey following the end of her engagement with Carl, which was dramatically captured on the Bravo reality show’s eighth season.

Hubbard, 37, expressed that she had already processed the breakup by the time the season aired. “I was already over it [when season 8 aired],” Lindsay revealed.

She attributed her swift emotional recovery to the manner in which Radke ended their relationship. “It didn’t take me too long, based on how he broke up with me,” she explained. “It was just a massive betrayal and lacked integrity and respect.”

The dissolution of their engagement, which occurred during a heated argument in August 2023, was a pivotal moment for Lindsay. “It made it easier for me to shut my emotions off for that person. Because he did it the way that he did, I didn’t have any residual feelings for him. I was over it well before this season aired,” Hubbard added.

Carl himself has expressed regret over his actions last summer. In a May 2024 interview with The New York Times, he acknowledged his shortcomings. “I’m not proud of how I was handling the situation and how I was treating her,” said Radke. “I mean, I was clearly frustrated and, you know, so I wish I had really been more direct.”

Lindsay and Carl relationship evolved from a longstanding friendship to romance before it ended abruptly. During an April 2024 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Hubbard discussed how her perception of Radke changed.

“I was in it,” she told host Andy Cohen. “I was in love with this man, he was the love of my life, we were gonna get married. [He was] my best friend for eight years.”

However, she noted, “There were moments that I missed him as a friend, but, after speaking with my therapist, she was like, ‘But he’s not the person you thought he was.’”

Reflecting on what might have been had the relationship continued, Lindsay felt relieved. “Had I stayed with him, it would have been a really, hard, long, tough road ahead,” she stated.

Fortunately, Hubbard found happiness soon after, reconnecting with a past flame just four months post-breakup. “He’s incredible,” she gushed about her new boyfriend.

“We actually dated a few years ago and it just wasn’t the right timing. He reached back out in December, and we started dating in January. It’s been wonderful.”

Lindsay also recalled a past breakup with her current boyfriend, which was handled with care. “He sent me the nicest text ever to explain he didn’t want to lead me on. He was just like, ‘Hey, I’m not in place where I could be in anything serious…’ And out of respect for you, I felt like I needed to tell you that,’” Hubbard shared with on a podcast.

When he reconnected four years later, Lindsay was open to rekindling their relationship.

Now, Lindsay prefers to keep her current relationship private, especially after her last highly publicized breakup.

“After my last relationship ended in such a humiliating and very public way, I’m not exactly dying to open my current relationship up to the world just yet,” she told E! News in June 2024, reflecting a desire for more privacy this time around.
