‘RHODubai’ Star Caroline Stanbury SLAMS Lesa Milan, Claims Lesa Can’t Make Headlines Without Her!
In the latest season of The Real Housewives of Dubai, the dynamic among the cast has dramatically shifted, especially between Chanel Ayan and Lesa Milan, who have seen their friendship dissolve.
Meanwhile, Chanel has forged a new bond with Caroline Stanbury, adding another layer to the evolving relationships within the group.
Caroline Stanbury recently discussed the ongoing drama and her unexpected friendship with Chanel in an interview with ET Online.
“I’m always dodging a bullet somehow. I’ve got nothing to do with their fallout, and, quite frankly, I want nothing to do with it. I don’t want to touch this drama,” Caroline stated, distancing herself from the conflict between Chanel and Lesa.
Lesa, according to Caroline, tends to blame her for any issues that arise.
“Lesa just pins anything and everything on me. You know, the sun doesn’t come out, that’s my fault. Everything’s my fault, as far as she’s concerned,” she explained. “I mean, Lesa simply can’t get a headline unless I’m in it, so just let her keep going. I just don’t want to play in the dirt with her. She can roll around by herself.”
Reflecting on how her relationship with Chanel evolved from rivalry to friendship, Caroline shared, “It got so bad that you know, where do you go from there? At the end of the day, we’re a friend group, and it made it very awkward for everybody around us.”
She added, “Now, we realized how much we do have in common. We both have teenagers. We both went away to boarding school — be it very different ones — her reactions to things, how I see them, and how I understand her now, and the way she understands my sarcasm now, you can see her sort of going, ‘Oh, that was funny! That wasn’t meant to be a dig…’ and, you know, she doesn’t always get on the defensive when I open my mouth. And we’re actually really building a good relationship together; our husbands get on. The kids get on. So, it’s great.”
Caroline also expressed confusion over another cast member’s negative feelings toward her this season, saying, “I’ve still not had an answer. I’m just as confused as all of you are. I’m like, wow, that is a lot of hate for a very funny statement that Nina Ali and I made about Taleen. It was a fleeting thing. It was just a giggle and very light.”
Aside from the interpersonal drama, Caroline also touched on personal reflections about her life and the possibility of expanding her family. “I can be selfish now, you know? I feel my kids don’t need me as much, which is amazing. So, to go back to the nappy stage and think about, you know, I actually built a grown-up house. I have white sofas. How’s that gonna work? I think like this, and then I’m like, oh, but maybe I’d be a different type of mom. Maybe now I’m so much more relaxed.”
RHODubai continues to air on Tuesdays, offering viewers a glimpse into the luxurious lives and intricate relationships of its stars.
