Porsha Williams Attempts RECONCILIATION with Ex Simon Guobadia Amid Divorce Battle!
Porsha Williams finds herself navigating the complexities of her divorce from Simon Guobadia amid a flurry of public scrutiny and social media exchanges.
Since the dissolution of their marriage, Simon has been vocal about his stance, adamant about contesting the separation.
While Simon remains outspoken, Porsha has chosen a more reserved approach, maintaining composure even when addressing her “very estranged” husband during Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live 15th Anniversary Special.
Alongside former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, Porsha appeared stunning in a glittery red dress, playfully dubbing it her “be his peace” outfit.
“This is a ‘be his peace’ outfit — I named it that in the dressing room,” Porsha quipped. “I’m his peace. Or his headache. Or his wreaking havoc.”
However Porsha claimed she has no hate towards him. “But I wish him well,” she added. “I honestly do.”
The public saga continued with a recent volley of pointed social media posts exchanged between the estranged couple on Wednesday, May 29th.
Porsha, 42, kicked off the day with a cryptic Instagram post alluding to legal matters surrounding Simon’s reported past and US citizenship status.
“Happy Wednesday! If a person concealed criminal past & provided fake identification for a green card is it still a valid green card in the US?!” she wrote.
In response, Simon, 59, fired back on his own Instagram, referencing a previous statement made by Porsha about dealing with something “265 days a year,” and insinuating her lack of understanding regarding complex US immigration laws.
“Imma Need People Who Think There Are 265 Days In A Year Stay Out of Understanding Complex US Immigration Laws Above Your Mediocre Mind,” Simon retorted.
In a recent legal development reported by RadarOnline.com on Friday, Simon Guobadia responded to Porsha Williams’ assertions, disputing the urgency of her request regarding filming arrangements.
Guobadia’s legal team emphasized that Williams owns another property in Gwinnett County, Georgia, valued at over $1.8 million since 2016, suggesting it as a suitable filming location without the need for an emergency order.
“Petitioner fails to show that an emergency exists,” stated Simon’s attorney on his behalf. “Petitioner commenced this divorce action on February 22, 2024, yet waited 3 months before filing her ’emergency’ motion on May 20.”
Porsha had argued that filming at their marital home was critical for her professional commitments, citing a temporary court order granting her sole possession of the property while Guobadia remains obligated to make payments and is prohibited from entering without prior consent.
The dispute arises amid ongoing negotiations over their prenuptial agreement, with Williams initiating divorce proceedings in February after 15 months of marriage.
The reality star asserted that she proposed compromises, including refraining from filming in sensitive areas of the residence, but accused Guobadia of retaliating to obstruct her career.
In response, Simon countered by suggesting Porsha had not been sufficiently forthcoming to justify her filming demands, accusing her of resorting to “intimidation tactics” to compel him to vacate their home.
Critiquing Williams‘ legal strategy, Guobadia’s legal representatives criticized her approach, alleging she withheld crucial information while seeking court intervention to safeguard her professional pursuits.
The judge overseeing the case has deferred a ruling on the filming matter pending further developments in their ongoing divorce proceedings.
As the drama unfolds, fans of the show eagerly anticipate how these developments will unfold in the upcoming season, speculating on the impact on Porsha’s relationships both on and off-screen.
