Allegations are swirling around Sheree Whitfield, claiming she orchestrated a paparazzi stunt and confrontation with newcomer Brittany Eady in a bid to secure her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

As Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta nears, fans are anxious with the absence of longtime star Kenya Moore, prompting speculation about a potential OG replacement stepping into the spotlight.

Recently, Sheree Whitfield added fuel to this speculation during an interview where she shared her thoughts on Kenya’s departure and the overall direction of the series. This sparked a back-and-forth exchange between Sheree, an original cast member, and newcomer.

Bravo unveiled the cast lineup for season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta weeks ago, notably excluding Sheree from the roster, suggesting she won’t return for the show’s “Sweet 16.” While some fans expressed disappointment at the absence of the She by Sheree founder, others felt her time on the show had run its course.

Following the viral interview with Sheree, reactions flooded in, with some speculating she orchestrated the interview to stir up interest and potentially secure a return to the show. Brittany commented under the The Shade Room post with a pointed, remarking, “TMZ in Atlanta… interesting.”

In response, Sheree took to her Instagram Stories, cryptically commenting, “Alleged scammers on housewives… interesting,” ending the online exchange.

During the TMZ interview, captured as Sheree left a grocery store, she lamented Kenya’s departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, stating, “My God. I hate to see my girl Kenya go out like that, but as an OG, it’s kinda hard to sit back and watch the show kind of slowly sink the way it is.”

Expressing discontent with the current state of the show, Sheree added, “So, I’m not happy. I don’t like it.” When asked about a potential return, she emphasized the significance of OG presence on the series, noting, “As an OG, I always feel like an OG’s presence is always welcomed or needed on the series no matter what capacity. So, I never say never. If the coin is right, I just might.”

Addressing her departure, Sheree Whitfield candidly stated, “Because the coin wasn’t right.”

The interview sparked criticism, with some questioning its timing and purpose, suggesting it was staged to revive interest in Sheree. One person wrote, “Sheree is definitely playing the game. Stirring up drama with Brittany and conveniently getting TMZ’s attention in a parking lot? Classic move to stay relevant for a RHOA return.”
