Erin Lichy Hints at Exciting Season of ‘RHONY,’ Applauds Newbie Racquel Chevremont as ‘Great’

Erin Lichy is promising fans an electrifying upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York City.

“This season is highly entertaining and pretty shocking,” Lichy teased in an exclusive interview with Page Six on Thursday at DJ Eliad Cohen’s Mezcalum NYC Pride kickoff at Dimes in the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan.

“That’s all I can say,” Erin, 36, added, keeping mum about specific details but hinting at what’s in store for Bravo’s popular franchise set in the Big Apple.

While remaining tight-lipped about the season’s surprises, Lichy couldn’t contain her enthusiasm for new cast member Racquel Chevremont, recently announced as part of RHONY Season 15.

“I actually feel more grounded with her on the cast because I feel like she has a healthy mindset but also likes to have fun,” Erin shared, praising Chevremont as an art curator, model, and proud member of the queer community.

“She’s just been really great. She’s lived such an interesting life. She has an incredible career,” Lichy continued. “She’s amazing.”

The current lineup for RHONY includes Chevremont, 53, along with returning stars Jenna Lyons, Brynn Whitfield, Ubah Hassan, Jessel Taank, Sai De Silva, and new addition Rebecca Minkoff, a fashion designer filming in an undisclosed role for the new season.

While Bravo has yet to confirm Minkoff’s role — whether as a full-time cast member or in a “friend of” capacity — the addition underscores the show’s evolving dynamics.

Racquel expressed her excitement about bringing more queer representation to the reality series, following in the footsteps of Jenna Lyons, who made history as the first openly gay woman on Real Housewives of New York City.

“I honestly didn’t think [Bravo] would be interested in me in the end because they already had a queer woman,” Chevremont told GLAAD on Thursday.

Erin, meanwhile, emphasized her support for Racquel Chevremont and the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly during Pride Month.

“I’m an ally,” Lichy affirmed, highlighting her collaboration with DJ Eliad Cohen, known for his advocacy in gay nightlife, at the mezcal-themed event.

Guests enjoyed cocktails featuring Erin and husband Abe Lichy’s own mezcal brand, complemented by Cohen’s vibrant DJ set.

“We love each other so much. I have a mezcal brand. Eliad is an incredible DJ and he plays music that really fits the vibe of our [Mezcalum] mezcal,” Erin Lichy shared.

“We thought this would just be a really great way to celebrate Pride and each other.”

Attendees at the event included reality stars Meredith Marks, Rachel Fuda, Margaret Josephs, Galyna Saltkovska from “The McBee Dynasty,” and content creator Donald “Prima Donald” Adler, who enjoyed the live debut of Cohen’s new single “Touch Me.”

As anticipation builds for the upcoming season, fans can expect The Real Housewives of New York City to deliver both excitement and meaningful representation, reflecting the diverse lives and stories of its cast.
