Danielle Olivera Shares Her Next Steps After Leaving ‘Summer House’

Danielle Olivera is embarking on a new journey following her decision to step away as a full-time cast member from Summer House.

The Brooklyn-based entrepreneur bid farewell on June 25 after seven seasons on the show, looking ahead to what lies beyond. As co-founder and CEO of the Donne fashion app, Danielle shared her thoughts on life post-reality TV.

Reflecting on her announcement via Instagram Stories on June 26, Danielle shared, “I did spend all day yesterday staying off the internet lol that will be the last.”

She expressed her plans to focus more on connecting with her audience, stating, “I plan on spending more time connecting with all of you right here and on [Donne]. Soo much work to do and a lot more to come. Feeling… happy.”

Grateful for the support from her fans, Danielle took a moment to thank them for their “beautiful messages” during this transition.

Danielle also gave her followers a glimpse into her personal style, showcasing a white onesie and a cowboy hat adorned with a ram emblem she planned to wear on a trip to Montauk.

In her departure statement from Summer House, she shared candidly about her decision-making process, saying, “I didn’t feel like I could throw myself fully into filming.”

“I wanted to share that I’ve come to the heartbreaking decision to not return as a full-time cast member on the upcoming season of Summer House,” Danielle wrote. “Obviously this decision didn’t come without a tremendous amount of thought. Ultimately, I just need to trust my gut. If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full-time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that.”

She continued, “Right now I need to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me — my company, my people, and of course myself.”

Danielle expressed gratitude to NBCUniversal, Bravo, and Truly Original for understanding and supporting her decision.

She also recalled a previous season where she took a step back and found it beneficial, adding, “However I’m involved this summer, you can bet I’ll be rooting for another incredible season from my Summer House fam.”

Messages of love and support poured in from her co-stars Lindsay Hubbard, West Wilson, Gabby Prescod, Kyle Cooke, and Jesse Solomon.

Lindsay Hubbard wrote, “We love you Dani Girl! 🫶🏼💕” BravoTV’s official page left hearts, Kyle Cooke said, “Love you D! I know this isn’t goodbye but it’s still sad that it’s official. Best see you soon! xoxo,” West Wilson left hearts, and Jesse Solomon added, “Damn that speech hit.”

In addition to focusing on her professional endeavors, Danielle has also been candid about her personal life.

During an episode of the Summer House After Show, she shared her feelings about dating post-breakup, explaining, “I don’t want a distraction right now, but [I’m] trying to get to the space where I’m ready to date again.”

As Danielle moves forward into this new chapter of her life, her fans eagerly await her next steps, both professionally and personally.
