Kenya Moore SHADES ‘Toxic’ Bravo After Getting Fired: ‘My Conscience Is Clean’
Kenya Moore shaded Bravo after being fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, defiantly claiming, “My conscience is clean,” while dismissing the “toxic” environment she left behind.
Life continues to shine for Kenya Moore following her exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
On Wednesday, June 26, the former Miss USA winner and actress shared heartwarming photos of her 5-year-old daughter, Brooklyn, as they enjoyed the sun, sand, and clear-blue waters of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
In her Instagram post, Moore, 53, addressed her departure from Season 16 of the Bravo reality series, expressing gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support. “My heart is full and my conscience is clear,” Moore wrote. “My life is blessed. My daughter and I will continue to thrive in a non-toxic environment where we feel appreciated and most importantly, protected.”
She added, “Thank you God for covering us 🙏🏾,” and in her Instagram Story, she wrote, “You can try to destroy a legacy, but you will never destroy a Queen.”
Moore’s exit was confirmed on Tuesday, June 25, the same day her cast members were informed. This decision followed her temporary suspension from filming after allegedly unveiling explicit pictures of new cast member Brittany Eady during a group event on Thursday, June 6.
A source told PEOPLE that Moore’s actions were in retaliation against Eady, who allegedly threatened Moore using the word “gun.” However, a second source close to production disputed this, saying, “At no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production.”
Moore has maintained her innocence on social media. “The rumors and narrative about me randomly showing nudes or revenge [porn] is 1000% untrue,” she wrote in her Instagram post on Wednesday, June 26. “I have proof and will share soon.”
“Kenya was concerned for her safety, that is the truth,” a source told PEOPLE. “Never for one second did Kenya feel like she was being taken seriously for her fears. It’s unfair.”
Despite the controversy, Moore has received support from many in the Bravo community, including her RHOA costar Porsha Williams. “A beautiful vacation with your princess is exactly what’s needed !!! ❤️❤️,” Williams, 43, commented on Moore’s post.
“The most important thing in life is your precious daughter,” added Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, who appeared alongside Moore in the first Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip outing.
Fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta can continue to stream the series on Peacock.
