Simon Guobadia Urges Court to Still Block Porsha Williams from Filming in Marital Home!
Simon Guobadia has issued a forceful response following Porsha Williams’ recent legal maneuvers, contending that her emergency filming request in their shared home should be rejected due to what he termed her “unclean hands” in the matter.
In a new filing obtained by RadarOnline.com on Friday, Simon countered Porsha‘ claims, asserting that she has exaggerated the urgency of her request.
He pointed out that Williams owns another property in Gwinnett County, Georgia, valued at over $1.8 million since 2016, where she can film without issue.
“Petitioner fails to show that an emergency exists,” Guobadia’s attorney stated on his behalf. “Petitioner commenced this divorce action on February 22, 2024, yet waited 3 months before filing her ’emergency’ motion on May 20.”
Porsha had argued that filming in their marital home was crucial for her livelihood, citing a temporary order granting her sole possession of the property while Simon remains responsible for payments and barred from entry without prior consent.
The dispute comes amid ongoing negotiations over the prenuptial agreement they signed before their 2022 marriage, with Williams filing for divorce in February after 15 months together.
The reality star contended that she had offered compromises, pledging not to film in sensitive areas of the residence, but accused Guobadia of retaliating to hinder her career advancement.
Simon countered by alleging Porsha had not been forthcoming enough to justify her filming request, accusing her of employing “intimidation tactics” to force him out of their home.
In response to Williams‘ legal tactics, Guobadia’s legal team criticized her approach, alleging she was withholding crucial information while seeking court relief to protect her employment.
The judge has deferred a decision on the filming issue, pending further proceedings in their divorce proceedings.
Meanwhile, tensions escalated between the estranged couple online, with Porsha posting a cryptic message on Instagram about immigration laws, to which Simon responded in kind, igniting another round of their public feud.
As the legal and personal battles continue, the future remains uncertain for Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia, whose divorce saga continues to unfold in the public eye.
