In a heartfelt Q&A session with fans on Instagram, 90 Day Fiancé star Kalani Faagata, 35, shared the intimate moment when she revealed to her boyfriend, Dallas Nuez, that they were expecting their first child together. “We were in New York for the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way tell-all,” Kalani disclosed during the session on Wednesday, June 19.

Kalani’s guest appearance on the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 5 tell-all, which aired on TLC in December 2023, was notably challenging as she was newly pregnant at the time. “I was super nauseous and trying to hide it,” she admitted. Despite the difficulties, Kalani managed to keep her pregnancy under wraps until she was ready to share the joyous news with the world.

The California native had already stunned the 90 Day Fiancé community earlier this month by announcing the secret birth of her third child, her first with Dallas. “Meet our daughter,” she wrote on June 4, alongside a series of adorable photos of the newborn dressed in lilac. Kalani also shares two sons, Oliver and Kennedy, with her ex-husband Asuelu Pulaa.

Kalani has been a prominent figure in the TLC franchise since her debut on 90 Day Fiancé in 2018. She first went public with her relationship with Dallas during season 1 of 90 Day: The Last Resort, which premiered in August 2023. At that time, she was attempting to salvage her marriage to Asuelu, 28, following his infidelity during a trip to Samoa in 2022.

In a revealing therapy session on the show, Kalani shared that Asuelu had offered her a “hall pass,” to kiss someone else to even the score. This led to her meeting Dallas, and what began as a mere kiss soon escalated into a full-blown relationship. The spinoff series unveiled more shocking revelations, including Asuelu’s numerous infidelities — he had cheated on Kalani at least 12 times during their relationship, even during her pregnancies.

Realizing that their marriage was irreparable, Kalani decided to spend a night away from the resort and reunited with Dallas. “The sooner we get divorced, the better for the kids. There’s just nothing more that can be done. Like, I’ve given up,” Kalani said during the October 2023 finale. She expressed her hope that Asuelu could cope with the situation and move forward for the sake of their family.

Kalani and Dallas’s relationship has flourished since their time on 90 Day: The Last Resort. The couple celebrated their first anniversary on February 5, 2024. Kalani marked the occasion with a heartfelt post on her Instagram Story, featuring a photo of them kissing at the beach. She humorously used an image of a cake with their dating anniversary, February 5, 2023, to obscure Dallas’ face in the picture. However, Dallas later revealed his face in a social media post, sharing a proud photo with his daughter shortly after her birth.

Despite the whirlwind of events and the ongoing challenges, Kalani and Dallas have shown resilience and commitment to each other. When asked if she planned to have more children with Dallas, Kalani responded with a definitive “No.” For now, the couple seems content with their growing family and focused on building a stable and loving environment for their children.
