Monica Garcia Talks Returning to ‘RHOSLC’ To ‘Piss Off’ The Cast!
Monica Garcia has made it clear that she’s not done with Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, despite her rocky relationships with former co-stars.
Speaking exclusively to Page Six, the 39-year-old revealed her intentions to stage a comeback, asserting, “I would return 100 percent just to piss them off.”
Monica joined Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, and Angie Katsanevas for Season 4 of the Bravo hit but was ousted after revelations surfaced about her running an Instagram troll account called “Reality Von Tease.”
Reflecting on her strained ties with the cast, Garcia admitted, “I haven’t talked to any of the other women. They are definitely holding true on their little alliance, their little pact. And I wish them well in hell. I’m kidding –– no, I’m so serious. Honestly, it’s been kind of wild. I haven’t talked to any of them.”
Despite the animosity, Monica noted the exception of Mary Cosby, saying, “Mary has always been incredible. She genuinely cares about me. She’ll just text me sometimes and be like, ‘Are you good?’ Like, she cares about my mental health and well-being.”
Discussing the unresolved tensions from the Season 4 finale, Monica expressed disappointment, stating, “It did not end how it was supposed to end.”
She attributed this to the cast’s decision to boycott filming with her, which she described as a “complete disservice to the fans.”
Looking ahead, Garcia subtly threw shade at her former co-stars, expressing curiosity about their upcoming storylines. “I would love to see them stand on their own, and not on my name,” she remarked pointedly.
During her interview, Monica also praised perceptive viewers who see beyond the drama, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community, whom she thanked for their unwavering support.
While she won’t appear on Season 5 of RHOSLC, Garcia hinted at future appearances, urging fans to “stay tuned” and promising, “keep your ears open because I have a lot to say.”
Recently in New York City for the Dolce Aesthetics Pride event, Monica emphasized her ongoing support for the LGBTQIA+ community, reflecting on the community’s backing since her time on the show.
“My time to show out for them,” she affirmed.
Monica Garcia continues to make waves, setting the stage for what’s next in her reality TV journey, ensuring her voice remains heard, on and off-screen.
