Gossip blogger B. Scott has provided frank insights into the chaos sparked by Kenya Moore during the grand opening of her hair spa, where she displayed explicit images involving one of her co-stars.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” B. Scott, who identifies with they/them pronouns, didn’t hold back when discussing Kenya Moore’s involvement in a recent scandal involving an oral sex poster.
“I hate to believe that Kenya would do something flat on its face just like … ‘revenge porn.’ I would think, hope, pray to God that is not an accurate depiction of it,” Scott stated.
B. Scott, who has been a prominent source of The Real Housewives of Atlanta news since the show’s inception in 2008, expressed concerns about Kenya’s actions potentially resembling “revenge porn.”
B. Scott and the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star are close friends. The blogger expressed concerns over how recent drama surrounding the reality star could affect her entrepreneurial ventures, particularly Kenya Moore Hair Care.
“I just thought it was very lowbrow,” Scott remarked. “I thought it was something that felt definitely like something Kenya didn’t need to do. I don’t know to what level, to what extent it was done. But it was at a level that Bravo decided to suspend her.”
Scott, 43, underscores the importance of Kenya, “reading the room” if and when she returns to filming the unscripted Bravo series, following her indefinite suspension due to the controversy.
As reported, Kenya Moore, 53, caused a disturbance at her salon’s grand opening with posters depicting series newcomer, Brittany Eady, engaged in oral sex.
Bravo cameras captured the moment when Kenya unveiled the explicit images at the cast event, although Brittany, 36, was not present during the display.
An insider asserted that the explicit photos in question were “readily accessible” online and further alleged that Brittany had made threats towards Kenya using the word “gun” prior to the event.
However, a production source clarified, stating, “At no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production.”
After the scandal grabbed headlines, Kenya addressed the issue on her Instagram Story, stating, “Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. The truth always comes to light.”
She further emphasized through a spokesperson that she “would never engage in revenge porn” and clarified, “I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail.”
B. Scott has declared that the scandal is too messy for his blog to cover and has opted not to report on the incident.
“I didn’t even investigate if it was real or not; I just didn’t cover it,” the blogger disclosed. “Nothing about it was like, ‘Ooh, I want to run this story.’”
Meanwhile, Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to return for its 16th season, blending familiar faces from Atlanta with new additions.
Returning stars include Porsha Williams and Drew Sidora. Joining them as a full-time cast member for the first time is longtime “friend of” the cast, Shamea Morton. Additionally, newcomers such as Brittany Eady, author Kelli Ferrell, and real estate mogul, Angela Oakley will make their debut as “Housewives.”
